In Ninja Time, your Clan choice provides you with active abilities that shape your playstyle and offer unique advantages. The right Clan can significantly boost your combat abilities, while some Clans may require more skill to use effectively. Ultimately, it comes down to your playstyle, though naturally, some are better than others. That’s why we have ranked all Clans in Ninja Time into a tier list, so you can make a decision on which one is best to use.
Ninja Time Clan tier list
Besides the current top pick, the various Red Eyes clan variations are among the top contenders. There are also several sleeper hits and some underwhelming options. Bear in mind that, unlike Families that give passive bonuses, Clans provide you with an active ability to use during gameplay. To help you get started, you can roll for different clans in the Spins tab from the Main Menu using our Ninja Time codes. S-tier Clans
Purple Eyes
Purple Eyes stands out as one of the top choices if you’re focused on building up your Genjutsu stat. The clan’s abilities are heavily tied to Genjutsu, so to get the most out of it, you’ll want to invest in this stat. Even if you don’t completely commit to Genjutsu, Purple Eyes still offers impressive base damage, making it a great choice for high burst builds. This flexibility, combined with powerful abilities, makes it one of the best clans in the game, alongside certain Red Eyes variations.
Red Eyes Raven
Red Eyes Raven is one of the top-tier Genjutsu builds in Ninja Time, right up there with Purple Eyes. It not only offers great Genjutsu scaling but also grants you a powerful Susano form, making it formidable in melee combat. This combination of high damage and defensive abilities makes Raven a strong choice for both PVE and PVP.
Red Eyes Teleport
If you enjoy high mobility and strategic combat, Red Eyes Teleport is the clan for you. Similar to Yellow Thunder, it requires practice to master, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes incredibly powerful in PVP. Its Genjutsu-based moves offer excellent crowd control and mobility, giving you an edge in competitive play. Additionally, it has utility moves that are incredibly useful for avoiding damage and positioning yourself in battle.
A-tier Clans
Red Eyes Black Flames
Red Eyes Black Flames is an all-around solid choice, offering a good mix of damage and utility. While it doesn’t have a standout, overpowered move like the Meteor variation, its versatility across different situations makes it a reliable pick. If you’re looking for a balanced Clan that performs well in various scenarios, Black Flames will not disappoint.
Red Eyes Meteor
Red Eyes Meteor might be average in most areas, but it excels in one key aspect – its ultimate Meteor move. This move delivers huge amounts of damage in both PVE and PVP, making it a great choice for grinding and boss fights. Even though the rest of the abilities may not be as impactful, the sheer power of the Meteor move secures its place in A-tier.
Fighter
Fighter is a top choice for Taijutsu players. It specializes in physical damage and offers one of the best experiences if you focus on Taijutsu. However, if you prefer using Elemental abilities or Genjutsu, Fighter becomes less effective. For players committed to physical combat, though, Fighter remains a must-have.
White Eyes
White Eyes is a flexible clan that performs well in both melee combat and Elemental builds. It scales with Ninjutsu, making it a good backup option for your Elemental abilities. This makes it more versatile than Fighter, which focuses solely on Taijutsu. White Eyes is a great choice for those who want a reliable and well-rounded clan with strong offensive and utility abilities.
Yellow Thunder
Yellow Thunder is one of the most skill-intensive clans in the game. It requires a lot of practice, especially with its mobility moves. Once you master it, however, Yellow Thunder becomes a powerhouse in PVP, offering incredible mobility and crowd control. It’s also perfect for traveling around the open world, thanks to its unique Kunai abilities. If you’re up for the challenge, this clan will reward you handsomely.
Red Eyes Intangible
Red Eyes Intangible has some potential, thanks to its Susano and the ability to pull enemies into the Kamui realm for 1v1 fights. While it’s excellent for isolating targets and handling ganks, it’s not the best for PVE or situations where you’re already engaged in a 1v1 battle. Its situational nature places it in A-tier, but it might not be the ideal choice for every player.
B-tier Clans
Bone
Bone is a solid, beginner-friendly option. Its main strength lies in its ability to deal damage at a safe distance, which is helpful in both PVE and PVP. You don’t have to stand right in front of a boss or enemy to hit them, which is a huge advantage for avoiding dangerous situations like getting stun-locked. While it may not have the raw power of higher-tier clans, it offers good utility and is a great choice for newcomers.
Bug
Bug is a decent clan for stacking poison damage, especially in PVE scenarios against bosses. While it doesn’t have the overwhelming power of higher-tier clans, its poison-based moves can be effective for grinding and dealing consistent damage over time. If you’re starting out and like the idea of applying poison to your enemies, Bug is a solid choice, though not one to stick with long-term.
C-tier Clans
Healer
Healer is a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, it offers Ninjutsu-scaling healing abilities that can be useful for sustaining yourself during PVE and PVP. However, if you’re looking for strong offensive moves, Healer isn’t the right choice. Its Taijutsu damage is lackluster, and the focus on healing means it doesn’t excel in combat situations compared to other Clans. If you want to be a dedicated healer, this is a good option, but for those seeking damage, it’s better to go with another Clan.
D-tier Clans
Shadow
Despite its rarity, Shadow is one of the weakest clans in Ninja Time. Its abilities lack strong base damage, and even though it scales with Ninjutsu, it doesn’t perform as well as other Ninjutsu-based Clans. Its abilities are clunky and awkward to use, making it difficult to succeed with. If you roll this Clan, consider rerolling for a better option.
Soul
Soul is another underwhelming clan, even though it’s tied to the Soul Family. There are simply better options available for your Clan slot, and Soul doesn’t offer enough advantages to justify picking it. If you’re looking for a more powerful Clan, it’s best to avoid Soul.
