Nintendo has announced a brand new Nintendo Indie World showcase for tomorrow, so get ready to learn about some indie titles heading to Switch 2 and Switch in the near future.
This news was revealed via Nintendo’s social media, and the company is promising «roughly 15 minutes of news and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch», which sounds about right for an Indie World show.
The duration of the show is pretty closely in keeping with previous Indie World showcases, so you can probably expect pretty much the same format as always; a cavalcade of indie games for your perusal, possibly broken up by some endearing (if slightly overeager) presenter banter.

Since this is an Indie World show, you should not, of course, expect any news on first-party Nintendo titles, so don’t go into it thinking you’re going to see the next mainline Zelda or Mario title; this ain’t that kind of show, bub.
We should, however, get new looks at upcoming Switch 2 and Switch indies. Upcoming titles for the systems include the likes of magical life sim Witchbrook, Yacht Club’s top-down Zelda homage Mina the Hollower, and viking survival game Valheim, to name but a few.
The presentation will also likely include some surprises we aren’t expecting. I, personally, would love to see a Switch 2 release of Black Tabby’s indie visual novel Scarlet Hollow, especially since the studio’s other game Slay the Princess has enjoyed such success.
I’d also like to hear from cyberpunk restaurant management sim-slash-slice of life game Nivalis, which has been delayed a couple of times. This is just speculation, though; anything could be announced, and it’s impossible to guess exactly what we’re in for.

Whatever Nintendo has in store for us, we’ll find out during tomorrow’s Nintendo Indie World showcase, which will air at 6am Pacific/9am Eastern/2pm GMT tomorrow. Stay tuned for everything that’s revealed during that show.
