Being a live-service video game, Fortnite is no stranger to collaborating with, well, other video games. Both God of War’s Kratos and Halo’s Master Chief are in the battle royale. As are the combatants of Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider, as well as V and Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077, among others.

So when it was rumored over the weekend that Henry from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 could be making his way into the game relatively soon, no one batted an eye. It’s just more of Fortnite being Fortnite.

Unfortunately, rumors are just that, rumors. And Henry likely won’t be dropping in Tilted Towers anytime soon.

It Was Fun While It Lasted

On Monday, in response to a report about Henry, along with Tony Hawk and Jack Black coming to Fortnite, the official Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Twitter account had this to say:

As if that wasn’t enough of a gut-punch for fans, Insider Gaming caught up with the voice actor behind Hans Capon. Speaking to the outlet, Luke Dale had no idea of any collaboration between the two games, though he did suggest that moves could be happening behind-the-scenes.

That not one, but two different outlets threw cold water on the prospect of KCD2 and Fortnite coming together for a collaboration should be enough to suggest that it might not be happening after all. To boot, none of the usual Fortnite leakers have corroborated those claims either. In other words, it’s over Fortnite fans, but it was fun while it lasted.
