Oblivion Remastered: All Ayleid Statues

How to Initiate «The Collector» Quest

«The Collector» quest is somewhat unique in that you might stumble upon it unexpectedly. There are two primary ways to trigger this quest:

  • Presenting an Ayleid Statue to Jollring: This is the less obvious method. To start the quest, you need to have at least one Ayleid Statue in your possession and then speak with Jollring. You can find this NPC within Umbacano Manor, situated in the western district of the Imperial City. Upon showing him the statue, he will inform you that a wealthy collector named Umbacano is actively seeking these artifacts and is willing to pay a generous sum for them.
  • Encountering Jollring After Selling a Statue: Alternatively, if you’ve previously sold an Ayleid Statue to a merchant, you might randomly encounter Jollring in that shop. He will recognize that you once possessed such an item and inquire if you have any more, thus leading you to Umbacano and the quest.
  • Regardless of which method triggers the conversation, Jollring will direct you to Umbacano, officially starting your quest to locate all ten Ayleid Statues.

The Locations of All 10 Ayleid Statues

There are a total of ten Ayleid Statues hidden within various Ayleid Ruins scattered across the map of Cyrodiil in Oblivion Remastered. Be warned: these ancient sites are often guarded by enemies and riddled with traps. However, the Ayleid Statues you seek are typically found within the final chambers of these ruins. To simplify your search, here are the exact locations of all the Ayleid Statues:

    • Culotte: This ruin is located on the eastern shore of The Upper Niben, positioned to the west of the town of Cropsford.
    • Fanacas: You’ll find the entrance to Fanacas situated to the north of the city of Cheydinhal.
    • Mackamentain: The entrance to these ruins is located to the west of the Kynareth Wayshrine.
    • Wenyandawik: Head northwest from the city of Bravil to discover the entrance to Wenyandawik.
    • Vilverin: To find Vilverin, travel to the island located northeast of the Imperial City Prison. The entrance is on this island.
    • Wendir: Venture a little to the south of the city of Chorrol to locate the ruins of Wendir, which contain an Ayleid Statue.
    • Welke: These ruins are situated near the Panther River, in the southern region of the map.
    • Wendelbek: You can find the entrance to Wendelbek just to the north of the Panther River and northeast of Fort Gold-Throat.
    • Moranda: Head southwest from Castle Bruma to discover the Ayleid ruin of Moranda.
    • Ninendava: From the Moranda ruins, continue heading north to find the entrance to Ninendava.

    Rewards for Your Efforts

Your dedication to collecting these ancient relics will be well-rewarded:

    • Individual Statues: Each Ayleid Statue you find and sell to Umbacano will earn you 500 Gold.
    • Finding All Statues: Upon delivering the tenth and final Ayleid Statue, you will receive a substantial bonus of 5,000 Gold.
    • Quest Completion: Finishing «The Collector» quest will grant you an additional 5,000 Gold and unlock the subsequent quest, «Nothing You Can Possess».

So, while it might seem like a simple task at first, «The Collector» quest is a worthwhile pursuit that will significantly boost your wealth and lead to further adventures in Oblivion Remastered. Happy hunting!
