Thanks to Spotify’s sponsorship deal, Barcelona shirts will feature Olivia Rodrigo’s logo for the upcoming clash with fierce rivals Real Madrid.
For the past four years, streaming platform Spotify has been the sponsor of Barcelona, and it’s a collaboration that has brought some of the world’s biggest names in music to the Catalan giants’ door.
The likes of Drake, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, and Coldplay have all featured on the front of the Spanish side’s kits through that time, and now it’s Olivia Rodrigo’s turn.
Spotify’s relationship with Barcelona continues
When Barcelona play their biggest rivals, Real Madrid, in the El Clásico on May 10, Rodrigo’s logo will be emblazoned on the home side’s shirt at the Camp Nou.
She will also be performing in the iconic city just two days prior to the game, in an exclusive concert with a guestlist determined by fans’ listening habits on Spotify; essentially, only the biggest Olivia Rodrigo fans will get an invite.
On the exciting link-up, Rodrigo said: “Seeing OR on a FC Barcelona jersey for El Clásico, I don’t even know how to process that.
“It’s been so fun seeing the jersey come to life and creating a full collection with Spotify and Barça. On top of that, getting to perform for the fans who’ve been listening since day one, in a city like Barcelona, is going to be so special. That’s everything to me. I cannot wait to see them.”
The special edition kit will actually be worn by the Barcelona women’s team first, in a game against Levante on May 6, before getting the big-game rollout for the El Clásico a few days later.

Alongside the football shirt, there is an Olivia Rodrigo capsule collection available to fans, which includes t-shirts, fleeces, hoodies, a bucket hat, and a scarf, as well as smaller gifts like a travel mug, stickers, and a tote bag.
If you’re feeling really lavish, there’s even a version of the football shirt signed by the Barcelona starting XI, but that particular item costs a whopping $4,350.
