A complete reference to every research in Orb of Creation. I couldn’t find a full list anywhere, so I made one myself.
Note: The numbers here are the baseline from a fresh save. Effects and requirement levels scale as you progress, so if you’ve already unlocked things, your in-game values will usually be higher than what’s listed here. Please treat these as just a baseline.
How to read an entry
- Max level: how many times it can be developed; [Infinite] = no fixed cap.
- Advancement cost: the advancement points spent to develop it, by type (Orb / Technology / Magical / Cognitive / Ability).
- Resources: the resource(s) also spent to develop it (amounts scale per level).
- Requirements: what you must have to develop it. “Expert Artificer Lv 2” means that research must reach level 2; “or” marks alternatives.
- Appears when: what must be true for it to become visible in your tree. “X tab” means that tab/system must be unlocked.
- Effect: what each level grants (x1.40 = multiplier, +20% = additive).
- Unlocks: everything that lists this research as a prerequisite: spells, artifacts, recipes, attributes, and other researches it leads to.
