Star Trek: Starfleet Academy introduces an all-new cast of young Starfleet cadets played by Sandro Rosta, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, Bella Shepard, Karim Diané, and Zoë Steiner. Starfleet Academy is the first Star Trek series told from the point of view of young adults.

Leading Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’s cast is Academy Award winner Holly Hunter as Captain Nahla Ake, with Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti as Nus Braka, season 1’s villain. Starfleet Academy also boasts Star Trek legacy characters, including The Doctor (Robert Picardo) from Star Trek: Voyager.
