A British family’s pet rabbit, which had been missing for four years, turned up near their home on Easter Sunday in a miraculous turn of events that’s taking social media by storm.
Laura Conway‑Norris and her then-four-year-old daughter, Cora, were distraught after losing their pet rabbit, Flopsy, in 2022.
After weeks of extensive searching, the calico bunny was eventually presumed dead. Crushed, Laura gave away all of its things, firmly under the impression she would never see her beloved pet again.
But on April 5, 2026, Laura came across a post from someone on their town’s local Facebook page with a photo of a rabbit that looked exactly like Flopsy.
The poster had spotted the bunny chomping on grass near a patch where Laura regularly walked the family dog. Overjoyed, the mother-daughter duo immediately went to check out the situation and found Flopsy alive and well, chewing away on the grass as though nothing had happened.

The calico rabbit had miraculously survived on her own for four years, finally finding her way back home on Easter Sunday.
Speaking to the Helston Packet, Laura said Cora is “so happy” to have Flopsy back again, though she joked that she felt “a bit bad” keeping her inside after she spent years foraging in the great outdoors.
“We’ll have to make her home as big and as wild as we can,” she told the outlet. “We’ll need a run the size of a field to keep her now!”
