Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, better known as Pink, is taking over the Kelly Clarkson Show for a week in celebration of Women’s History Month. But this has left fans wondering if Pink will stay on the show for longer, perhaps permanently, amidst discussions of Kelly Clarkson retiring from the show.
Is Pink taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show?
While Pink is taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show for one week as a guest host, starting March 2, 2026, she is not taking over the show for good. With rumors about this swirling all around, Pink took to her Instagram to assert that she was not going to take over The Kelly Clarkson Show for good.
Reports indicated that Pink’s stint on The Kelly Clarkson Show was almost like an audition for her to explore further possibilities. After this, the musician said on a video from her Instagram profile, “In a continuation of debunking all of the ‘sources’ that we’ve got going on in the world, I am not taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
She continued in the video, “I’m doing a fun thing for my buddy Kelly, because it’s a fun thing. If I wanted a talk show, I would not have to audition. I would just have one, and it would be amazing. Not something I’m currently researching or looking for in my busy, busy, busy world.”
However, Pink deleted this video from her profile shortly after. This led to more confusion and theories about her taking over.
But as it stands, no, Pink will not become the permanent host of The Kelly Clarkson Show. It seems that when Clarkson does depart, it would mark the conclusion of the show. After seven seasons on the air, Clarkson decided to take a break and dedicate time to her 11-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son.
Earlier, Clarkson revealed that the seventh season will be her last. The show is slated to conclude after Fall 2026, when this season comes to an end.
Meanwhile, fans have a fun week ahead with Pink as the guest host.
