February is just around the corner. The cold winter nights in the Northern hemisphere will share the room with the romantic air around Valentine’s Day, and PlayStation Plus decided to be a darling with this bundle of gifts for the month.

Following a decidedly mediocre PlayStation Plus Essential selection in January, the February roster brings banger after banger, including the most celebrated flight simulator available for PlayStation consoles.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for February

The four games announced by Sony will be available for download starting February 3rd. You can add the January games to your library until then.

As has been the case for years now, accessing any PS Plus Monthly game added to your library requires an active subscription to the service.

Here are this month’s games for all PlayStation Plus users:

  • Subautica: Below Zero
  • Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
  • Undisputed
  • Ultros

Subautica: Below Zero is arguably the most fitting game for the season, considering the extreme weather gracing many of us.

The spin-off to the wildly popular marine survival game Subnautica adds an extra layer of complexity due to the aggressive cold. You also get to do a lot more exploring on terra firma, for a change.

If you have a need for speed but are also weak to over-the-top anime plots and dialogue, then you need to jump into Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

The game is the most ambitious entry in the series to date, with breathtaking graphics, intense dogfights, and a wide selection of combat aircraft to pick from.

Undisputed is a 2024 boxing game with a remarkable roster of licensed athletes across different boxing orgs. It falls short of contemporary mainstream sports games as far as production value goes, but its tournament structure is a fun ride, especially as a PS Plus freebie.

Last but certainly not least, we have Ultros. Perhaps best described as ‘Dead Space if it were a Metroidvania’, with crisp gameplay and great usage of time loop mechanics.

Here is hoping this month is an indicator of things to come for the PS Plus selections in 2026, because I sure could use great new games every month.
