Who is joining Presumed Innocent Season 2?
Emmy winner Rachel Brosnahan has officially signed on for the leading role in the next installment of Apple TV+’s hit legal thriller series. In addition, Brosnahan is also set to serve as an executive producer. Presumed Innocent Season 2 will be inspired by Jo Murray’s upcoming 2026 novel Dissection of a Murder, which will reportedly center around a young lawyer defending the accused killer of a well-respected judge. Abrams, Rachel Rusch Rich, Matthew Tinker, Dustin Thomason, and Scott Turow.
The first installment was based on Turrow’s 1987 novel. The cast also included Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Elizabeth Marvel, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Nana Mensah, Kingston Rumi Southwick, Matthew Alan, and Lily Rabe. It currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 79% on Rotten Tomatoes. Before the Apple TV+ adaptation, the novel was first adapted into a film in 1990, which starred Harrison Ford as Rusty Sabich.
