Pringles is bringing its legendary taste to an unexpected new item this summer with special chip-flavored hot dog buns.
The snack brand has revealed Pringles Pop Dog Buns, a limited-edition line of potato-based buns infused with the flavor of its crisps.
Unlike regular hot dog buns, these are designed to fit inside Pringles’ iconic cans and come in three fan favorite flavors: Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard.
The buns measure 7.5 inches long and are being released just in time for National Hot Dog Day on July 15, giving fans a new way to enjoy their glizzys.
“This summer we’re bringing the ‘Once You Pop’ experience to the center of the plate,” said Mauricio Jenkins, Salty Snacks Brand & Content Lead at Mars North America.
“We wanted to take something everyone knows and completely flip it into an exciting new snackable experience.”

Pringles Pop Dog Buns launch in three flavors
The Sour Cream & Onion Pop Dog Bun brings the tangy, creamy flavor of the classic green can into a soft potato-based bun.
The BBQ version adds smoky sweetness meant to pair with backyard barbecue staples, while the Honey Mustard bun mixes honey sweetness with mustard tang for a sharper twist on the classic hot dog.
Pringles is also encouraging fans to go all-in by serving the buns with matching chips on the side, or even placing the chips directly on the hot dog for extra crunch.
The limited-edition Pop Dog Buns will be available for free with the purchase of a Pringles Three-Pack, which includes Sour Cream & Onion, Honey Mustard, and BBQ crisps for $6.97.
Fans can sign up at OnceYouPopMarket.com to be alerted before the drops go live. The buns will be released in two waves on Wednesday, July 8, and Wednesday, July 15, at 12 p.m. ET.

Pringles reveals new beer burger-flavored crisps in another Miller Lite collab

A Spam hot dog is now available and it’s as crazy as it sounds
This isn’t the first time Pringles has experimented with a unique flavor concept. Earlier this year, the company teamed up with Miller Lite to release beer-flavored chips.
In 2024, the company introduced a product you probably shouldn’t try eating after they collaborated with Crocs to release Pringles footwear.
