Over on Twitter/X, reliable industry insider billbil-kun claims that Starfield is reportedly all set to arrive on PS5 on April 7, 2026. According to a leak, the game will launch on the platform in two editions: Standard ($49.99) and Deluxe ($69.99).

What’s interesting to note here is that the game will debut on PlayStation at a much lower price compared to the original Xbox launch. This isn’t something we’ve seen with previous titles on the game.

As for pre-orders, the insider suggests that they could go live on March 18, 2026, or possibly on the evening of March 17, depending on when the official announcement is made. Players who were worried about a digital-only release can relax, as the leak also suggests that a physical version of the game is also planned.

It’s exciting to see that Starfield is finally getting a confirmed PS5 release window. Rumors also suggest a major update is on its way to Starfield, and it could launch alongside the PlayStation version. If this happens, Starfield might just blow up again in terms of player numbers.
