Schedule 1 revolves around you making the products and selling them to all the customers in Hyland Point. There are a number of properties that you can buy, and then you can set up the equipment and hire employees to create products for you.
The barn is also one such property, and it provides a much larger space than any of the preceding properties, making it an ideal place to set up as the headquarters of your drug empire. However, due to the overwhelming amount of space, it can get a little challenging to figure out how to make the best use of this property.
What Is The Best Barn Setup?
The ing are the equipment and hardware that you’ll need to purchase and place inside the barn. You can switch out anything that doesn’t seem necessary to your plan, but this setup ensures that you’re producing premium-quality stuff in abundant quantities that won’t leave your customers disappointed.

Second Floor
The barn’s first floor is a tiny space compared to the vast area available downstairs. However, it is the ideal place to set up Air Pots to grow Coca Leaves. You can place up to six Air Pots, alongside the Suspension Racks and the Grow Lights on each side.
There’s also enough space available to place Pot Sprinklers in front of each pot if you don’t plan to hire any botanists. You can place a large storage shelf in the center towards the end. Furthermore, you can place up to two beds here in the middle, even after leaving enough space for the botanists to move around the entire area with ease.
Botanists water the plant themselves, removing the need for the Pot Sprinklers. Additionally, the large storage shelf will help the botanists take the supplies and plant the seeds in the Air Pots without traveling much distance.
The First Floor
There’s a lot of room here to set up, but you should start from the far left corner of the barn, at the edge of the northern wall. Here, you can place up to four beds. Two of them need to be against the wall, with enough space for a Brick Press in between, because you’ll be the only one using it and, unlike your employees, you’ll be able to jump over the beds.
You can place the other two beds sideways in front of each bed that you have placed before, making a square. Make sure you’re not blocking the stairs or anything else. Now, you should place eight Mixing Station Mk2. You can place four of them against the wall, and four more of them right in front of them. Leave only enough space in the middle for you or your employees to walk to the other end.
There would only be a small place remaining on the northern wall. Here, you can place two large storage shelves. Now, on the western wall, place the two Packaging Stations Mk2 next to the entrance gate.
The southern wall of the room should be covered with storage shelves in its entirety. You can place a total of eight storage shelves here, and two more on the western wall, next to the gate.
Head towards the entrance and then look inside the barn. Here, you can place up to four Chemistry Stations between the pillars to your left, and four Lab Ovens between the pillars to your right. After doing so, place four more lab ovens behind the ones that you have already placed, but ensure they’re facing the opposite way so it’s easy to access the Lab Ovens from each side.
These eight Lab Ovens will allow you to cook meth and base cocaine at the same time for maximum efficiency.
Now, you’ll have to place up to four large storage shelves behind each Chemistry Station. Make sure the path to them isn’t blocked by the Mixing Stations that you had placed earlier. Place two cauldrons below the stairs, and two near the entrance to the barn in front of the two shelves that you had placed earlier.
After that, you’ll be left with the Drying Racks, beds, and a few Air Pots. The six Drying Racks can be placed in the space between the Lab Ovens and the large storage shelves. You can also place two of them in front of the cauldrons below the stairs, which will give you some space to put anything else that you want.
You can place up to five beds in the middle of the barn, between the Chemistry Stations and the Lab Ovens. There should be enough space left on each side for your employees to access each station.
The remaining six Air Pots can be placed in groups of two. You can place two in series alongside the two mixing stations in the front, two in front of the light switch button on the left pillars, and two in the middle, just ahead of the beds.
Automation
You can hire a maximum of ten employees, and you’ll need all of them to make this place work. You should get three Botanists. Each Botanist can manage up to eight stations, which include pots and drying racks. After you’ve hired three of them, you’ll be able to easily manage 18 Air Pots and the six Drying Racks in the barn.
You should also hire four chemists. A Chemist can manage up to four stations on their own, so one can easily handle all the Chemistry stations, and you should assign one to the four cauldrons. The other two Chemists can manage the eight Lab Ovens.
Two Handlers are perfectly fine for managing the two Packaging Stations and you can hire one more Handler to move stuff around the barn. While this setup should take care of everything, you should adjust the employees and the equipment depending on your current needs. Once you’ve set up everything, this barn will be enough to take you to the end game and more.
