Part of Schedule 1 is evolving and growing your empire, but that task is difficult to accomplish on your own. Luckily, you don’t have to grow your empire on your own, and the fixer at the warehouse lets you hire various types of employees from him. Each employee type is able to assist you with different roles that are involved with growing, crafting, and packaging your products.
Of course, the system for hiring and directing employees can be tricky to get used to, and before you can even direct them, you need to purchase and place a bed for every employee. This means that in places like the bungalow, your available space for operations is limited if you want employees to help you, since you need to take into consideration where the beds will go, and you can’t place them outside the bungalow.
How to Assign Beds to Employees
When you hire an employee for the first time, you receive a clipboard in your inventory that you can’t remove. Then, head to the location where you sent the employee. You’ll find them standing outside, and they won’t begin working until after you assign them a bed, pay them, and assign tasks to them. First, place a bed inside if there isn’t one already there. Then, pull out your clipboard and select the employee. Pick the bed section that comes up on your clipboard, then go select the bed you want to assign to that employee.
After the bed is assigned, it has a little paper with the employee’s face posted on it and a black suitcase set on top of the blankets. The suitcase is how you pay your employees, and if there isn’t enough money to cover a day’s wages inside of it, the employee will stand outside and refuse to work until you add money to the case. So, head to the bed of that employee and open the suitcase. It tells you what that employee’s daily wage is, as their wage changes depending on the type of tasks that employee can perform. Take money from your cash and transfer it into the suitcase. With the bed assigned, you can move onto assigned tasks to your employee in Schedule 1.
