YouTube: Schlep
YouTube is taking heat for its response to Schlep after the content creator slammed the platform for allegedly age-restricting many of his Roblox predator-catching videos.
Schlep is a prominent YouTuber best known for hunting down child predators on Roblox. A self-described “Roblox safety advocate,” Schlep says he’s responsible for six arrests and two convictions of predators he’s exposed on the platform.
Schlep is no stranger to conflict as a result of his content. In fact, he was permanently banned from Roblox in August 2025 because of his videos, with the company arguing he’d violated their terms of service.
Now, Schlep claims that YouTube is giving him grief as well, revealing that many of his predator-catching videos had been “censored.”

YouTube flamed for response to age-restricting Schlep’s videos
Schlep brought attention to the situation in a tweet on February 4, 2026. In his post, he attached a screenshot of an email he’d received from YouTube telling him one of his videos had been age-restricted for violating the site’s “child safety policy.”
“YouTube is now censoring my Roblox predator catches. Why?” he asked.
YouTube’s response to his post isn’t being well-received. “We’ve replied to your DM, let’s continue the convo there,” they wrote in their reply, sparking backlash from users who demanded the company “take accountability in public.”

In response to a commenter, Schlep claimed that YouTube had manually approved ads to run on the video before hitting it with an age-restriction, saying “someone at the company watched the video and approved it” beforehand.

Schlep slams Roblox’s response to latest video: “Absolute joke”
“I don’t even allude to the ages in my videos and they still get flagged, demonetized and now age restricted,” he wrote in another comment. “This company doesn’t even communicate with anybody in the slightest.”

Schlep also spoke about the situation with Dexerto, revealing that a number of his past predator-catching videos had been suppressed by YouTube over the last several months and accusing the site of “intentionally limiting the reach” of his content.
Schlep’s videos are so viral that they’ve caught the attention of US lawmakers and even ‘To Catch a Predator’ host Chris Hansen, who said he wants to create a documentary “investigating Roblox’s handling of child safety issues” after reaching out to the YouTuber.
