With Stellar Blade’s launch on PC today, the game is also getting a Complete Edition that will contain all the updates and free content released so far, which also includes the NieR: Automata and NIKKE Goddes of Victory content.

Unfortunately, it appears that PS5 players who purchased the Complete Edition have been excluded from the NIKKE skin, despite it being available for the PC version’s Complete Edition.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), Hyung-Tae Kim, the director of Stellar Blade, offered a statement, «I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share some thoughts about the Complete Edition and the GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE costume code, hoping to connect with you all sincerely,» Kim said.

Kim mentioned the hardships bridging the gap between two games on consoles and mobile, each run by different teams, proved challenging, noting, «We’ve poured our hearts into delivering as much content as possible to every one of you. However, bridging the gap between two games on mobile and console platforms, each run by different teams and business entities, to offer rewards of equal value has been an incredibly tough challenge for us. To be completely honest, I fell short in my ability and judgment. I sincerely apologize for the disappointment this has caused to the PS community.»

They are now exploring possible solutions for Stellar Blade players. While details are still being hammered out, Kim states they will do their best to «ensure» customer satisfaction.

Hopefully, Shift Up can just add the outfit as part of a title update, so that every Complete Edition owner can receive the outfit. Or perhaps have it up on PSN Store and check player data to see which version of Stellar Blade they own? Not sure how hard that would be to do technically, though.

Stellar Blade is out today on PC, and this isn’t a straight port, as players will receive a new boss fight, new outfits, and PC features. For more on the PC version, check out the release info.
