GSC Game World has been quite active in providing post-release support for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. and the studio is far from finished.
Today, the developers have revealed the latest roadmap for STALKER 2, which only frames the Q2 2025 stuff the developers have planned. I imagine GSC Game World has more stuff planned, but they opted to reveal just what they have planned in the next three months since that is plentiful enough.
STALKER 2 Getting New Weapons And Other Improvements For Free
According to GSC Game World, they will release quarterly roadmaps, so expect the next one to be revealed once Q3 rolls around. So what new stuff is in store for the next few months? There’s a lot. Not just bug fixes, but even new features and improvements that players in The Zone will surely appreciate.

- ONGOING STABILIZATION AND VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS

- Mod Guide (handwritten: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. AI will provide the info)

A-LIFE/AI UPDATES:
- Persistent A-Life improvements (handwritten: stalkers live their long, happy lives, as it should be)
- Smarter human combat: better cover/flanking use, limited grenades
- Mutants eat corpses (handwritten: So, that’s how they survived in the Zone…)
- Mutants react to threats

GSC Game World also reminded players that the original STALKER trilogy is getting a next-gen update within this quarter as well.
STALKER 2, released last year, is the fourth mainline game in the franchise and the first one released in 15 years.
If you haven’t played the game yet, our review is honest about its issues. Given the flood of updates we’ve gotten for the game, some of these might be non-issues now, given the improvements and bug fixes rolled out by the developers.
No word yet on when the first Q2 2025 patch will be released, though don’t be surprised to be downloading one before the month is over/
