Bryan Fuller praises Andor Season 2 Episode 8
The Hannibal creator recently sat down for a conversation, where he lauded Andor Season 2 Episode 8, titled “Who Are You?”
Bryan Fuller praised Rogue One and its prequel series, Andor. He stated to ScreenRant that Season 2 Episode 8 of Andor “is the most important episode of television this year, and probably for many years to come.” Fuller continued, “I watched it so many times and cried at just the bravery of this woman, [Mon Mothma]. It’s a crime that Genevieve O’Reilly was not acknowledged with awards.”
Andor Season 2 became a huge hit and earned a satisfactory score of 97 percent on the Tomatometer based on 211 critic reviews. On the Other hand, it got a score of 89 percent on the Popcornmeter.
Despite the huge success of both seasons of Andor, the show is not returning for a third season. Previously, Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor also expressed his desire to be a part of it. While speaking at a Fan Expo in August 2025, he said, “I watched Andor, and I watched the first episode of it at home with my little boy, and then I realized what everyone was talking about.”
McGregor added, “I got really excited. I was thinking, ‘I think I’m in this timeline. I think I could be in Season 3.’ I was super excited, and then I realized, ‘Oh no.’ So anyway, maybe if there was, I could have squeezed in there, if only. There’s always a chance that maybe there’s a story that’s happening at the same time where it kind of crosses over. So there’s always a chance if Disney is listening — hypothetically, hypothetically. Come on, Disney.”
