How to redeem codes
Redeeming codes in Subterra is straightforward once you’ve completed the initial tutorial and gained access to the main lobby area. The redemption option is tied to a dedicated NPC rather than a menu button:
- Locate the Codes NPC in the lobby area near the spawn gate. Make sure you are on the surface.

- Walk into the circular interaction zone surrounding the NPC.
- Enter a working code in the text box that appears.

What are Subterra codes used for?
Subterra codes are primarily used to obtain resources that contribute to mining, exploration, and character progression. Rewards vary between codes, but commonly include Chrono Shards, gold, keys, TNT blocks, EXP boosts, and occasional consumables.
