Taco Bell is bringing back its Crispy Chicken Nuggets with a new twist, introducing Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets for a limited time starting April 16.
The new item marks the first time Taco Bell has transformed its cult-favorite Diablo Sauce into a dry seasoning, coating each nugget in a layer of “Diablo Dust” instead of serving it as a packet on the side.
Each nugget features all-white meat chicken with tortilla chip breading, now paired with the spicy dust coating designed to deliver heat in every bite.

The Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets build on Taco Bell’s push into crispy chicken, which began in late 2024 with multiple menu tests across nuggets, tacos, and burritos.
“Diablo Sauce has a cult following, it’s that lingering heat with a hint of lime. Turning that iconic flavor into a dust reimagines how that heat hits,” said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer.
“By coating our nuggets with Diablo Dust, we’re unlocking a new level of intensity and opening the doors for even more creative, dusted flavor experiences with our Crispy Chicken. This is just the beginning!”

The nuggets will be available in multiple formats, including a 5-piece for $4.49 and a 10-piece for $7.49, each served with a choice of dipping sauces.
A digital-only combo includes a 10-piece order, Nacho Fries, a large drink, and two sauces for $9.99, while a deluxe combo bundles a 5-piece order with a Chalupa Supreme, Crunchy Taco, Nacho Fries, and a drink for $10.99.
Fans can also pair the nuggets with sauces like Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch, Bell Sauce, or Jalapeno Honey Mustard.

This isn’t the only flavor Taco Bell plans to put on its nuggets in 2026, either. During its Live Mas event, the fast food chain revealed over 20 new items, including these Diablo nuggets as well as Cool Ranch flavored chicken.
