There’s a lot you can do in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, from saving the world to helping literal pigs in the mud find love. However, across your adventures, you’re sure to find people just hoping to share a conversation or some treasure with you. Of course, not all of these people are alive.
You’ve be surprised what you can find on a body left in the woods to rot. We’ll help you uncover a super special ring that claims to defeat fall damage once and for all. Now who wouldn’t want to believe in that? We’ll help you get to the bottom of things and locate the ring of legend.
Where To Find The Ring Of Fall Damage Reduction
To find this ring and the poor soul that last used it, fast travel to the Ruined Broch waypoint. From there, head south through the trees to the cliff face where you’ll find a corpse lying on the ground by a tree.
If you’re having trouble finding the body, walk straight through the pair of twin trees and keep going in a straight line.
Once you find the body, you’ll notice a Ring of Fall Damage Reduction on it. Pick it up to examine the jewelry. While most enchanted items have special text informing you of the effects, this one is different.
Instead of the usual enchantment format, the ring simply tells you that the legends about it say it’s meant to make the wearer immune to fall damage. Care to test it out?
How To Unlock The WAAAOOOAAGGHH!!! Achievement/Trophy
Slip on the ring and continue west to the tower you’ll visit during the No Place For Strays quest. Ascend to the top and leap off the tower to take fall damage. If you die, you’ll get the achievement.
Please save before jumping from a high place.
If one jump isn’t enough, forget the tower and head to the Forlorn Swords to leap off the cliffs or take a chance on the hill adjacent to the tower, the one leading to the Lair of the Beast. The higher the better.
The important thing to note is that the ring is just a ring with some flavor text, and the achievement/trophy won’t pop until you die from taking fall damage while wearing the ring.
