How Tavern Keeper Unlocks Work

There are two kinds of Tavern Keeper unlocks: new items or rooms for all of your scenarios, and a new tier of rooms and furniture within a scenario. We’ll break things down in the sections below.

How to Unlock New Items for All Scenarios

Simply put, there are two ways to unlock new items for all scenarios in Tavern Keeper:

Progressing through a scenario to unlock new furniture items
Getting gifts from patrons to get new decorative items or cosmetic variants

Anything unlocked will immediately be available for purchase in all other scenarios in most cases, as long as your tavern satisfies any prerequisite Tavern Rating requirements. (For example, you can’t build a Kitchen until your tavern is at , even if you’ve unlocked the Kitchen in another scenario beforehand.)

Take note that some items (including functional furniture) have variants, and some of these variants have higher star ratings (which will improve your Decoration stat); click on the yellow arrow, where applicable, to see these variants.

How to Unlock New Tavern Equipment in a Scenario

When you’re managing a tavern, certain rooms are unavailable until you reach a certain Tavern Rating. Here’s what you get when your Tavern Rating reaches certain milestones.

Remember, you only get access to these rooms (and their furniture) once you’ve unlocked them by completing the scenarios they’re featured in! You may also need to buy new supplies or hire new employees to make the most of them.
