Texas Walmart Spark Driver Allegedly Returns to Customer’s Home With Knife: ‘You can’t make it up. Clearly hates his job.’

That could have ended badly

A Texas delivery driver identified in posts circulating with the video as a Walmart Spark driver allegedly returned to a customer’s home carrying a knife after complaining that the deck had not been cleared.

Security camera footage showed the driver delivering groceries onto a deck that was already filled with other items. As he completed the delivery, he began cursing at the homeowners, saying, “Can’t even clear your [expletive] deck out for your [expletive] groceries, [expletive].

The driver then began walking back to his car when the homeowner spoke through the security camera, saying, “That was extremely rude. You’re on video doing that.” In response, the driver cursed at her and told her to “shut up.” She replied, “You’re on video doing that too.” The driver then directed more profanity toward her while standing beside his car.

The next portion of the video showed the driver returning to the house to deliver additional groceries. “[Expletive] idiot,” he shouted. A short time later, he returned, but this time he was holding a knife. Addressing the home’s security camera, he said, “I ain’t [expletive] leaving.

The driver then walked onto the deck while still holding the knife and appeared to try opening the front door repeatedly. He then knocked on the door several times, seemingly attempting to get the homeowners to answer. According to the video, he then threatened the homeowners, saying, “Remember I got your address. Remember that. I got your address. I have your address. If you snitch on me, I’m coming back.” The comments appeared to refer to the possibility of the homeowners reporting his behavior to Walmart.

If you snitch on me, I’m coming back. If you tell on me, I’m coming back,” the driver repeated. He then put the knife away, picked up a wooden plank from the ground, and threw it toward the house before walking away. According to reports, the driver was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Viewers Left Shocked After Texas Walmart Spark Driver’s Behavior

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers said they were shocked by the Texas driver’s behavior toward the homeowners. Several questioned his state of mind and criticized the way he handled the situation. “You can’t make it up. Clearly hates his job,” one person wrote. Another commenter said, “Why did he care about the deck? He could have put them on the steps and went about his day. Insane.

Other viewers tried to understand what may have contributed to the driver’s behavior. One commenter blamed the homeowners, writing, “I’m just gonna say if you have a porch full of garbage and you expect somebody to deliver it to you that’s on you not on the delivery driver. I don’t appreciate what the delivery driver has said, however don’t expect for somebody to be cordial to you whenever you treat them like garbage in the first place because your home is the invitation… and if it’s full of garbage you have no one to blame except yourself!

Another commenter wrote, “He looks like he’s got mental health issues and really should not have been put in opposition if he can’t contain himself. I’m glad no one got hurt but this kid needs mental health help.”

What began as a complaint about where to leave a grocery order escalated into something far more serious within minutes. By the time the driver finally walked away, the homeowner’s security camera had captured the knife, the attempts to open the door, and his repeated warning that he knew where they lived.
