A California woman who works as a flight attendant experienced something that shook her to her core recently. While working, ICE allegedly showed up at her workplace and demanded to know specific information about passengers on the flight. Luckily, the pilot wasn’t going to stand for this breach on the passenger’s privacy.
Azalia (@azalialexi) said that ICE agents allegedly swarmed a recent flight of hers. According to her, they boarded the flight and demanded to speak with the pilot in charge. Then, they asked him for specific information related to everybody on the flight. But Azalia said their pilot stood his ground and asked them for a warrant. When agents told him they have orders but no warrant, he replied, “Well, that doesn’t sound like you have a warrant.” They tried to get him to give up the information but the pilot continued to stand his ground.

Eventually, Azalia said the pilot told ICE, “I’m not going to give you that information.” He instructed other workers on the flight to not say anything to the agents. Azalia said this all happened at a very small airport where she generally works. She said if it’s happening at small airports, then “it’s definitely happening on a way larger scale.” On top of that, she said she was proud of the pilot for standing his ground. She stated that ICE is known to “scare people” into giving up information even though they don’t have a warrant to demand it in many cases.
Azalia said she made this video as a way to “speak about it” and show others what’s happening out there. She said she never experienced something like this in over 7 years of being a flight attendant. In the end, she tells her audience to “stay safe” while tensions are escalating across the country.
