Apple TV has released a new clip from The Last Thing He Told Me ahead of the show’s second season premiere. The preview highlights the return of Jennifer Garner as Hannah Hall and offers a brief look at the next chapter of the series’ central mystery.

Apple TV has released a new clip from season two of The Last Thing He Told Me, confirming the premiere date as Friday, February 20, 2026. The clip was shared by Apple TV via its official X account, stating: “Kick it with Jennifer Garner in the new season of #TheLastThingHeToldMe. Coming February 20 to Apple TV.” The season will consist of eight episodes, with new episodes released every Friday through April 10, 2026.

The series stars Jennifer Garner, who also serves as executive producer. Angourie Rice, David Morse, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau return for season two. Judy Greer and Rita Wilson join the cast this season. Other cast members include Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, Michael Galante, John Noble, Michael Hyatt, Luke Kirby, and Elizabeth O’Donnell.

Laura Dave wrote season two based on her sequel novel The First Time I Saw Him. The book follows her No. 1 New York Times bestseller The Last Thing He Told Me. In this season, Owen (Coster-Waldau) resurfaces after five years on the run. Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) race to reunite their family before the past catches up.

Laura Dave and Josh Singer created and adapted the series. Both serve as executive producers. Garner, Reese Witherspoon, and Lauren Neustadter of Hello Sunshine also executive produce. Aaron Zelman joins as co-showrunner and executive producer. 20th Television and Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media, produce the series.

The novel The Last Thing He Told Me was a Reese’s Book Club pick. It sold over five million copies and stayed on the New York Times bestseller list for over 80 weeks. Season one is now available to stream globally on Apple TV.
