The Midnight Walk is a unique adventure best experienced using VR. However, players on other devices shouldn’t worry, as the game remains gripping and immersive throughout the character’s entire journey. Scattered across the chapters are a handful of puzzles, most of which are fairly straightforward. The Moonbird Story Puzzle in Chapter 2, however, can be a bit more challenging. For those looking to solve it more efficiently, the guide below covers everything you need to know about the puzzle in The Midnight Walk.
How To Complete the Moonbird Story Puzzle In The Midnight Walk
Soon after the second instance, when you take flight and land at a different location, head straight to come across a tree in the distance, and everything will suddenly turn pitch black. Moonbird will appear on the tree branch and ask you to fire up the murals in the correct order to complete the story. Grab the matchstick from the matchbox behind you and light the murals in the ing order:
- The first mural to light is the second one from the left, with the image of a campfire and two Molgrims painted over it.
- Next, light the second mural from the right, where the Somebodies are fighting the Molgrims.
- Then, light the mural to the right of the previous one, which shows Somebodies fighting amongst each other.
- The fourth mural to light is the one in the middle, showing multiple heads on the right, depicting the Great Gruesome Beheading.
- The final mural is the first one from the left, with the heads scared of the last Molgrim.
Upon lighting all of the murals in the correct order, Moonbird will narrate the full story as it happened, after which it will give you a gift—a Shard of the Moon. With this, you will have all three pieces of the cauldron and can proceed back to the Molgrim’s lair to interact with the cauldron there.
Be sure to look around throughout the chapters, or you might miss some of the collectibles.
