Sidemen trio Ethan Payne, Harry Lewis, and TBJZL attended an England World Cup match recently, and it’s safe to say they riled up the spectators around them.
England’s opening World Cup match against Croatia in June was a thrilling affair, with the Three Lions running out 4-2 winners in the end.
The Sidemen were represented on the night up in the stands at Dallas Stadium, but those sat around them were not happy with the noise levels.

While filming themselves at the game, Ethan Payne and TBJZL were shouting their friend Harry Lewis repeatedly as he returned from the bar with a handful of drinks.
One fan confronted the group and asked: “Are you going to keep shouting Harry the whole game?”
Payne then clapped back and asked what the problem was, to which the fan replied: “It’s just a bit annoying.”
The Sidemen members then questioned why they had been told off, stating sarcastically: “You’re not allowed to shout up here… not allowed to shout at a football game.”

Later in the game, when England won a penalty, the Sidemen saw an opportunity to wind up the supporter in front of them once more by cheering loudly for Harry Kane.
Thankfully, the fan agreed this was a more appropriate moment to yell from the stands, telling the Sidemen: “Now you can shout Harry.”
While some football supporters are unhappy with the new wave of YouTube-focused spectators recording their reactions to the game, there is always the argument that football is a game that is supposed to be enjoyed at volume and with passion from the fans.

Some England fans said it was “poor” form from the YouTubers to mock the man.
“Fella probably spent close to £5000 on flights, tickets and accom and just wants to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience without someone behind him recording himself and screaming like a toddler,” one said on X.
“They are not supporting England. They want to be the centre of attention,” another added.
