Balatro is a roguelike deck builder all about combining the unique and powerful effects of Joker cards. By combining synergistic Joker effects with your deck of playing cards, you can create combos that score massive points, chaining multiplicative bonuses off of one another.
Legendary Jokers have some of the strongest effects in the game, but are equally as difficult to acquire. If you do manage to get one of these Jokers, your run is all but guaranteed to result in a win. Below, we'll take a look at how to get Legendary Jokers, as well as what each of them do.
How To Find Legendary Jokers
Legendary Jokers can only be obtained through The Soul Spectral Card. Spectral Cards are a type of consumable that are typically earned through Spectral Packs. However, The Soul works a little differently.
The Soul can only be obtained through Spectral or Arcana Card Packs, at a 0.3 percent chance of appearing. Unlike other Spectral Cards, the Soul can't be created by Jokers like Sixth Sense or Seance, nor can it be found in the shop when using the Ghost Deck.
If you are lucky enough to get The Soul, it will create a random Legendary Joker, as long as you have room for it. This will randomly give you one of the five Legendary Jokers, consuming The Soul card in the process.
