Call Of Duty: Warzone — The Best Loadouts For The RAM-7

The RAM-7 is a brilliant assault rifle in CoD: Warzone, especially with these builds.

Call Of Duty: Warzone - The Best Loadouts For The RAM-7

After the Season 3 update and the addition of Rebirth to Call Of Duty: Warzone, lots of assault rifles are starting to see more playtime. The long range meta shifted rapidly, but there's one gun that still competes among the best within the class, especially for the most aggressive players, the RAM-7.

While last year the RAM-7 was the absolute meta across all ranges, right now the game feels much more balanced and this gun only serves the most aggressive playstyles. If you've been using the RAM-7 for months, and you already feel comfortable with it, we found some builds that will help you optimize it just a bit more.

How To Unlock The RAM-7

Call Of Duty: Warzone - The Best Loadouts For The RAM-7

To unlock the RAM-7, you'll need to go through the Season 1 battle pass, completing the challenges and contracts to unlock sector A7. After completing that specific sector, the gun will finally unlock. Although this one takes time, it definitely pays off.

If you're an experienced FPS player, leveling up the RAM-7 just as ground loot is pretty easy. While it won't feel as good without attachments, the gun in itself is really strong in -to-medium range gunfights. Move carefully, and you'll succeed.

If you already have the gun unlocked, but you haven't leveled it up, it's time to grind in multiplayer to max it out and unlock all the attachments. If you don't own the multiplayer component of Call Of Duty: Warzone, you can grind in Lockdown or Plunder lobbies and do it as fast as you'd do in multiplayer.

The Best RAM-7 Loadouts For Resurgence

As ranked play is now entirely focused on Rersurgence, our attention was directed towards builds and loadouts to dominate these matches with ease. With Rebirth as the mainline attraction, most loadouts won't need that much range. The RAM-7 shines in this department, and our builds will make it feel easy to shoot, even for inexperienced players.

The All-Rounder Assault Rifle

Call Of Duty: Warzone - The Best Loadouts For The RAM-7

Although the RAM-7 felt hard to control when it first came out, after tinkering with all the attachments, the gun feels great. We found one of the best builds out there and were shocked at how easy it is to use for average players. If you like to play aggressively, but you're not a high-level player, this is the one for you.

  • While this is not the easiest build to control of the list, we used a silencer and optics to make the RAM-7 more user-friendly, especially for new players. Although we recommend using a 1x optic on this rifle due to its aggressive stats, a bit of zoom won't hurt a more passive playstyle.
  • For the muzzle, we'll use the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor; this attachment is one of the strongest silencers in the whole game, as it will help to control your gun during sustained fire while also keeping you off the minimap. This will help reduce the possibility of a third party interrupting one of your gunfights.
  • Now, the magazine. This one is pretty straightforward, as we want to maximize our capacity with almost every assault rifle loadout. We'll use the 60-round drum for this one, although there's an argument for using the 40-round one if you just play solo.
  • Regarding the barrel, the Cronen Headwing Long Barrel is the one that worked best in all of our tests. With this attachment, you'll get huge damage range and bullet velocity bonuses for a slight handling penalty, especially in the hipfire department, which is not significant for a build of this kind.
  • For the underbarrel attachment, we'll use the Bruen Heavy Support Grip, which is a staple in loadouts focused on control at this point of Warzone's life cycle. This grip will help with the horizontal bounce of this assault rifle, making it much more controllable at medium range.

Without these attachments, this gun wouldn't be tolerable to use for the average player due to its bouncy recoil.

This build is the least aggressive on the list. It's designed to make you feel at ease with the gun while keeping you off enemies' minimap; use that to your advantage and shoot from positions that would get you in trouble if you appeared on the minimap. With good positional awareness, you can wipe duos and trios with this build.

The Aggressive Assault Rifle

Call Of Duty: Warzone - The Best Loadouts For The RAM-7

The RAM-7 is still one of the strongest assault rifles in the game, especially in 30-to-40-meter gunfights. Because the most common gunfight range in Call Of Duty: Warzone is around the 35-meter mark, the RAM-7 will always feel strong, even after nerfs.

Pro players understand this, and they created what ended up being the strongest loadout in the game for the last year. Although the RAM-7 is not the broken gun that it used to be, this build is still one of the best for the aggressive playstyle we've come to love in the Call Of Duty series.

Entirely based around control and mobility, this is the build you'll enjoy the most if you've been a Call Of Duty player since you were a kid.

  • For the muzzle, we'll use the Komodo Heavy. This attachment helps to deal with horizontal recoil while only penalizing your aim down sights time a little bit. This specific attachment changes the gun entirely, making it super easy to use for any player. For even more aggressive players, you can opt for the Casus Brake.
  • As the last loadout, we'll also use the 60-round Drum. If you're playing solo all the time, you can swap it for the 40-rounder, but most of us wouldn't do that. Consider that you can wipe duos easily with 60 bullets and the handling penalty for carrying those extra 20 bullets is minimal.
  • The barrel is the only thing not focused around control in this build. The Cronen Headwing Long Barrelwill help extend this gun's range, which is one of its only downsides, and it doesn't hurt your mobility that much. This one's a must.
  • For the underbarrel, we'll attach the Bruen Heavy Support Grip. It'll help keep the gun steady during sustained fire for those times you're reaching a bit out of its range. As the last attachment, we'll use a stock, specifically the HVS 3.4 Pad, which helps with this gun's initial kick.

This is the build for the gamer who has been playing Call Of Duty for years and just wants fast guns with minimal recoil. There are no sights here, nor a suppressor to help you stay concealed; you have one of the strongest guns in the game to deal with anyone who stands on your screen, though.
