Diablo 4: How To Get The Flameweaver Gloves

Of all five classes in Diablo 4, the Sorcerer has some of the most interesting and build-defining Uniques. In general, Unique pieces of equipment are meant to provide strong but often niche effects that inform how you construct your build.

The Flameweaver gloves are some of the strongest for Sorcerer, and are a necessary piece in their endgame Flamewall Fire Bolt build. If you're looking for this item, you've come to the right place. Below, we'll take a look at everything you need to know about getting your hands on the Flameweaver gloves.

What Are The Flameweaver Gloves?

Diablo 4: How To Get The Flameweaver Gloves

Flameweaver is a pair of Unique Gloves for the Sorcerer with the following effect.

Casting Fire Bolt through an active Firewall causes it to split into 3 projectiles, each dealing [30-70]% more damage.

Flameweaver also has added levels of the Fire Bolt and Devouring Blaze skills, as well as Attack Speed and Damage to Burning Enemies.

These gloves enable a very strong interaction between Firewall and Fire Bolt, centered around the synergistic effect of increasing damage to burning enemies.

While the Flameweaver gloves may be rare, they are not impossible to find. Compared to Uber Uniques like the Harlequin Crest, the Flameweaver gloves should be fairly easy to get.

Uniques start dropping in World Tier 3, and have an even better chance to drop in World Tier 4, so you should definitely be playing on this difficulty level if you're farming specifically for the Flameweaver gloves.

Besides that, they can drop from almost any source in the game; whether you're killing monsters during Helltide, fighting World Bosses, or running Nightmare Dungeons, the Flameweavers can drop almost anywhere. However, there is one way to greatly increase your chances of getting this item.

Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint

Grigoire is an endgame boss that drops rare Uniques and other items, including the Flameweaver gloves.

This Uber boss needs special materials to be summoned; the amount you need depends on your World Tier.

  • World Tier 3: 2x Living Steel
  • World Tier 4: 5x Living Steel

You can get Living Steel by opening Tortured Gifts of Living Steel during Helltide. These cost 300 Aberrant Cinders.

Additionally, you can opt to fight Torment Grigoire, a much more powerful version that drops better loot. This boss is only available at World Tier 4, and requires the following materials.

  • 15x Living Steel
  • 2x Stygian Stone

Stygian Stones can be earned by completing The Pit .

For both versions, you'll need to take these materials to the Hall of the Penitent in the Dry Steppes, to the south of Ked Bardu. Here, you can spend the materials to summon Grigoire or Torment Grigoire. This boss mainly uses Lightning-based attacks, so we definitely recommend increasing your Lightning Resistance as much as possible.

Defeating this boss has a decent chance of dropping Flameweaver, but only if you're playing as a Sorcerer.

Keep in mind that Grigoire is not guaranteed to drop a Unique , and if a Unique does drop, it's not guaranteed to be Flameweaver . You'll definitely have to fight this boss multiple times if you want to get these gloves.
