As you progress with your training at Mulan's camp in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Mushu will have more tasks for you. One of which is to help him defend the camp and all of China from potential threats. Thankfully, there's a creative solution to the problem, although as usual, you'll end up doing most of the work yourself.
From gathering the materials to putting them all together, Mushu is sure to love the outcome as it shows his fierce side. Here's how to find everything you need to help him create the ultimate Dragon Army that will guard all of China!
How To Find The Materials For The Dragon Army
After completing the quest, A New Recruit, you'll move on to helping Mushu around the camp some more. Specifically, he wants to create a defense system that can protect all of China. The solution is simple: model statues after Mushu's powerful likeness! To do this, you'll need to take a picture of Mushu and find the following resources:
- Camp Mud (50)
- Buckets of Water (3)
- Firewood (10)
- Red Spider Lilies (10)
- Chrysanthemums (5)
- Dream Shards (10)
The Dream Shards can be found in Dreamlight Valley, but the other materials can be found all around the outside of camp. You'll need to use the shovel to dig up the spots of mud. Meanwhile, everything else can be foraged. Be sure to look in every corner of the realm, as some items might be hidden in tall grass!
Search for the buckets of water along the river!
How To Craft The Dragon Army
Once you find all the materials, it's time to put them together at the Crafting Station. You'll need to use all of the Camp Mud, Red Spider Lilies, Chrysanthemums, Dream Shards, and Buckets of Water to make 20 Unfired Dragon Statues.
The firewood will be used later, so hold onto it!
Once they're put together at the Crafting Station, return to Mushu. He'll give you the next steps!
How To Fire The Dragon Army
The final steps are to fire the dragon statues in the kiln. Put both the Unfired Dragon Statues and the firewood into the kiln, then talk to Mushu again. You'll have to wait for the statues to finish firing, so Mushu requests that you help out Mulan in the meantime.
There are several quests for you to work on with Mulan, including A Defender's Training and the Training Treasures quest. When you're finished with that, the dragon statues should be just about done! Once they are, speak to Mushu so he can load them into crates to ship out.
If the dragon statues aren't done yet, you can just wait nearby for them to finish.
The quest will complete and Clearing The Road will begin immediately.
