With all the Disney and Pixar characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you have your work cut out for you as the ruler of the village. Everyone needs your help, and when you're all in it together, magical things can happen. Mushu has plans for one of the more gloomy villagers, and you're a key part of the process!
Help Mushu give Beast some confidence by working together to remind him of how great he really is! It might seem unconventional, but trust the process and listen to what the trained guardian dragon has to say. Here's how you can help pilot the M.U.S.H.U. Program!
How To Conduct The Ink Blot Test
To unlock this quest, you'll need to have reached level four friendship with Mushu. You'll also need to have Stitch, Daisy, the Beast, Remy, and Mulan in your village. Once all the conditions are met, speak with Mushu to learn about his grand idea.
The Beast lacks confidence, and Mushu wants you to speak with him about signing up for the M.U.S.H.U. Program to gain some perspective. Beast agrees, but you'll have to do the program alongside him.
The first step is checking in with Mushu. You'll need to make an inkblot test for both you and the Beast, so find Belle to get some Quality Ink and ask Mulan for Specialty Paper. Bring it all to Mushu and he'll give you your ink blot test to look over first.
Open your inventory to view the ink blot test!
Answer however you see fit, then place the Beast's ink blot test near his castle. The Beast and Mushu will talk about what Beast sees in the picture, and it's not very positive. Speak with Mushu again to figure out the next steps in the program.
How To Smash Furniture
While Beast's reaction to the test wasn't great, Mushu is still hopeful for a breakthrough. Now he wants you to place Old Furniture near the Beast's Castle, then convince the Beast to smash it with you.
While the Beast doesn't feel certain about it, he'll follow your lead. Use your Royal Pickaxe to break two of the four sofas, then let Beast handle the rest. Talk to the Beast again and check back in with Mushu. You'll be moving on to the final stages of the program, and the results seem promising!
How To Craft The Beastly Mannequin And Make Wonton Soup
The final steps involve gathering supplies for Mushu. You'll need to complete the following to help Mushu prepare:
- Get something from Daisy. She'll give you a mannequin, but no context.
- Get something from Stitch. It's a drawing of the Beast.
- Get the Beast's old clothes. Head into the Beauty and the Beast Realm to retrieve clothes from Beast's room. They're by the tub.
With everything gathered, head to your Crafting Station to create the Beastly Mannequin! It's a crude representation, but it will do the trick. Place the mannequin near the Beast's Castle and watch Mushu engage with the Beast. It seems there's finally a breakthrough!
Talk with Mushu afterward to learn the Wonton Soup recipe. He asks you to make two bowls of it – one for him and one for the Beast. You'll need the following ingredients to make the soup:
Make sure to read the recipe in your inventory!
- Eggs
- Shrimp
- Wheat
- Onion
Cook two dishes then bring them to the Beast and Mushu. You'll earn a genuine thanks from the Beast and review the success of the M.U.S.H.U. Program before concluding the quest.
And yes, you get to keep the Beastly Mannequin!
