What Are Wyrmslife Crystals?

Dragon's Dogma 2: How To Get Wyrmslife Crystals

Wyrmslife Crystals are the calcified red droplets of blood from dragons or creatures with draconic blood (like drakes).

These Wyrmslife Crystals (WLCs) are a rare currency that can be exchanged for valuable items by trading with the Dragonforged.

The Dragonforged is a special NPC you will encounter toward the end of Dragon's Dogma 2's main story.

While these rare crystals will take time and effort to acquire, the rewards you can earn via exchanging them are unique and extremely powerful.

Where Can You Get Wyrmslife Crystals?

You can get Wyrmslife Crystals as:

  1. A drop reward for defeating a dragon or drake, particularly the Purgener bosses in the Unmoored World.
  2. A quest reward for completing one of Dragon's Dogma 2's late-game quests, including post-game.
  3. A rare inventory item available for purchase from a traveling merchant.
  4. A rare material randomly discovered by a pawn with the Forager Specialization.
  5. A stolen item from Drakes (while knocked down) using the Thief's Pilfer or Plunder Weapon Skill. Up to 20 can be stolen at once.

You will receive 90 Wyrmslife Crystals for defeating each Purgener boss , so be sure to defeat them all once you're in the Unmoored World.

While you can acquire these Crystals whenever you're powerful enough to defeat a draconic enemy, you won't receive them as a reward from a quest until much later in the game.

Thus, the best way to hunt down Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon's Dogma 2 is by killing draconic enemies, as they can be sought out in Vermund and Battahl, and often reward several WLCs.

Draconic enemies are extremely strong creatures and should not be taken lightly.

Level 30 or higher is recommended to tackle these ferocious beasts, but you might be able to defeat them earlier.

Just know it will be a struggle if you are too under-leveled or under-equipped.

When you're ready to hunt some drakes, head out with a party of pawns – including a Mage to heal – and prepare for the fight of your life as you battle to acquire this precious reward from your foes.
