Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes — Euchrisse Recruitment Guide

Out of all the regions in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, Euchrisse gives you some of the highest number of recruits.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Euchrisse Recruitment Guide

It only takes a bit of gameplay in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes to realize that recruiting various units out in the world is at the center, and you can't expect to progress much without taking part in it. You can get some of these recruits simply by progressing the main story to a certain point.

However, most units require you to find them, talk to them, and sometimes fulfill a certain request. In the Euchrisse region, you might only get some of these recruits after getting to a certain point in the story.

This guide is a work in progress, and we'll consistently add more characters as we recruit them in the game!

Pastole

Location

Twinhorne East

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Love-Trapping Hunter

Pastole is likely the first recruit you'll get as soon as you reach the Euchrisse area. He can be found on the bottom left side of Twinhorne East, quite hard to miss with his green shining design. All you need to do is talk to him for a little while to convince him to join the Alliance.

Once recruited, you can get an upgrade in your castle with 40 Stones to build a hunting cabin, which allows you to automatically get Pelt and Meat with another upgrade.

Mariette

Location

Twinhorne East

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Quiet Bookwarm

Mariette is another character that you'll find in the Twinhorne East area right after reaching Euchrisse, and you can see her sitting on a bench near the water at the bottom, just a little to the right of Pastole.

Upon talking to her, she'll ask you to get her charm if you want to recruit her. This can be done by heading over to Greatwood South and triggering a special battle. Once the charm is acquired, you can recruit Mariette and build a library in your castle.

Huang

Location

Hishahn

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Fishing Drifter

Huang will likely be one of the hardest recruits to get in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and this is entirely because of his request. While you might be able to meet him before, you can only start his recruitment quest by talking to him in Hishahn, found near the Appraisal shop on the right side.

The cheeky fisherman will ask you to get a Wheel-Eye Bream, which is arguably one of the hardest fish to acquire. To find it, you'll have to head over to Seaside Cavern and fish in the spot here until you get it.

Kurtz

Location

Hishahn

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Cool, Competent Cook

Heading over to the capital of Euchrisse now, you'll find Kurtz a little to the right of the forge where you can upgrade your weapons in this area. However, the quest you need to finish if you want to recruit him won't be nearly as easy.

He'll ask you to get the recipe for Grilled Tutuva, with a small hint that you can find it from people who are "All Bark". You can find this by heading back over to the Treefolk Village and talking to a specific NPC.

Carrie

Location

Hishahn

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Teleporter Chaos Girl

Carrie is the greatest recruit you can get for the quality of life in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. You can first find her while taking a certain vertical path in Hishahn, but she'll disappear after a small dialogue. You have to find her at two more places in the city to be able to recruit her.

Once recruited, Carrie will unlock the much-awaited fast travel ability that lets you instantly get to any area as long as you aren't inside a dungeon. She's also a necessary recruit if you want to continue the story during the Hishahn Old Town part.

Perrielle And Janquis

Location

Hishahn Inn

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Charismatic Noble

Perrielle a.k.a. Perry is one of the first few characters you'll meet in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, being right after you meet Lian, Mio, and Garr. However, you'll have to wait quite some time if you want to get the noble of Grum in your party.

She automatically joins your party once you have the initial dialogue with her in Hishahn Inn. Of course, since Janquis is loyal to Perrielle, he also joins your party right after with the Loyal Elderly Steward title.

Riufan

Location

Hishahn

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Elder Spear-Wielder

Riufan can be found by heading a bit left from the Hishahn Inn and then taking a small bridge leading upward. He'll be continuously drinking and will likely refuse to talk to you since your strength would be too low at this point in the game.

If you want to recruit this spear-wielder, you'll have to increase Nowa's strength to a certain point and then duel with him. After you win the duel, he'll automatically join the party.

Nell

Location

Hishahn

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

This Bag Is Everything

Another phenomenal recruit for the quality of life in the game, Nell can be found on the top left side of Hishahn. He'll be hiding behind a stall in this area, and can be recruited simply after a small dialogue.

By this point in the game, you'll likely have already run into some inventory problems since you only get 30 slots. Thankfully, Nell is your solution to this as he permanently increases your inventory by certain upgrades in the castle or temporarily by putting him on your team as support.

Code L

Location

Daphan Village

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Rune-Lens Maniac

On to the third main civilization in Euchrisse, Daphan Village is also home to various recruits from the very start. As soon as you enter this area, you can find Code L inside the Rune Shop, and he'll ask you to get a Rune Of Currents for him.

The easiest way to get your hands on this item at this point in the game is by recruiting Carrie and heading inside Hishahn Old Town. You'll have a boss fight in this area that drops the Rune, which you can then use to recruit Code L. He can open a Rune Shop in your castle and be used as support on your team.

Hakugin

Location

Daphan Village

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse

Title

Seasoned Shinobi

To the bottom right of Daphan Village, you'll find a seasoned fighter called Hakugin, who'll ask for a specific person from the East Reach. If you've been paying attention to the dialogue, you might already know that Mio is one of the people from this area.

All you have to do is head over to a nearby Inn, put Mio in your party, and talk to Hakugin again. This will trigger a special series of dialogue, which will then let you recruit this phenomenal fighter.

B'Baba

Location

Daphan Village

Requirement

Reach Euchrisse, castle level two

Title

All-Seeing Mystic

You can find B'baba as soon as you reach Euchrisse in a small shop to the left of Daphan Village. However, her name won't be shown initially since you need to trigger a specific quest line to talk to her. This can be done by upgrading your castle to level two and finding Faye to the left on the outside.

In this cutscene, one of the soldiers will mention B'baba, after which you'll be able to head back to this place and recruit her. You can open her own divination area in the castle once she's recruited.

Melridge

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - Euchrisse Recruitment Guide

Location

Hishahn

Requirement

Win the battle of Hishahn

Title

Curator And Tactician

Melridge is one of the coolest characters you'll see in the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes because of how smart he is. Thankfully, he'll automatically join your team once you win the war of Hishahn and start planning to leave it.

He can be used as a fighter in your team, and is quite good at dealing fire damage to the enemies.
