Elden Ring Fan Predicted Shadow Of The Erdree’s Final Boss Four Months Ago

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's ending was a huge surprise to the community as Miquella brought Radahn back to life in his prime to help usher in the Age of Compassion. People did predict that an old boss would return—theories ranged from Godwyn to Malenia—but nobody guessed that it would be the Red Lion General himself…

…except for one fan on an unrelated Instagram post. "All fun and games 'till that boss harder than Malenia turns out to be prime Radahn," they commented 18 weeks ago. They were completely on the money; Radahn does return in his prime and they make Malenia look like a Tibia Mariner.

They Hated Marcusstyles490 Because They Told Them The Truth

When they put forward the idea that Radahn would return as one of the bosses in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, they were immediately shut down by other fans.

"The DLC isn't in the past so that makes no sense," one replied. They were right, we don't time travel like in many other FromSoftware expansions, but what they hadn't accounted for was Miquella dragging Mohg's lifeless body to the Land of Shadow to house Radahn's soul, resurrecting him to be his consort.

Another fan simply said, "That'd be so lame." I wonder what they thought of the DLC in the end.

He doesn't look like Mohg anymore, but it's likely that his body was simply used as a material in the ritual that was then reshaped into Radahn's image when he was resurrected. It's also heavily implied that Radahn had to die for Miquella's plan to work, which means that in killing Radahn and Mohg—two completely optional bosses—we played right into his hands. The final boss is a nightmare of our own making.
