Even Let Me Solo Her Is Struggling With Shadow Of The Erdtree’s Final Boss

If you're an Elden Ring fan, Let Me Solo Her probably doesn't need much of an introduction. But I'm going to give him one anyway because the story is incredible. He rose to fame for beating the Malenia boss fight over and over again, assisting other players while wearing nothing but a pot on his head. Now, unsurprisingly, he's returning his talents to the DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree.

However, it turns out that the difficulty of Shadow of the Erdtree's final boss has not been exaggerated, as even this Elden Ring legend is struggling against them. Let Me Solo Her has revealed that the boss is "kicking [his] but right" right now, a sentiment I'm sure that many of us share.

Even Elden Ring Pros Are Struggling Against The Shadow Of The Erdtree Final Boss

We'll have to wait and see how long it takes this icon to get through the boss battle. He did, admittedly, only just come out of retirement in order to play this DLC, so he might just be getting a feel for the game once more.

However, that hasn't stopped him from helping other players again. As we reported earlier this week, he's been helping fellow Elden Ring fans beat Messmer, playing under the name Let Me Solo Him.

Even with Let Me Solo Her's extensive experience with the base game, it isn't so surprising to see him struggle against the final boss. Much of the conversation around Shadow of the Erdtree's launch has been centred around its intense difficulty, something that has proven divisive.

It's a debate that Let Me Solo Her himself has engaged with, although not in the way you might expect. Despite struggling against the final boss, it seems that he welcomes the challenge, feeling that others are being "too harsh" in their criticism of the DLC. He also recommends that players use all of the tools at their disposal to take Shadow of the Erdtree — they're there for a reason.

This is a mindset that Elden Ring's director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, agrees with. He recently admitted to using "every scrap of aid" against bosses in his own game, adding that he actually isn't that good at it. So, if you think there's any shame in using summons, spirit ashes, and so on, then you'll have to take that up with Miyazaki himself.
