After several rounds of voting, Ace Attorney fans have come together and decided on the hottest guy in the series — and it's a #DickSweep.
That's right. According to the Ace Attorney fanbase, the sexiest guy the series has to offer is none other than Detective Dick Gumshoe. He fended off fierce competition from Godot in the final round, but ultimately, players just couldn't get enough of Gumshoe.
Gumshoe Is Officially The Hottest Guy In Ace Attorney
It's a #DickSweep, and the crowd is going wild. For the honour of being named the hottest Ace Attorney dude, Gumshoe won the final round with 57 percent of the vote. He had some shaves throughout the tournament, almost getting knocked out before the final, but in the end, nothing could stop his rise to the top.
So, where does that leave the other characters? Well, the main man himself, Phoenix Wright, made it to the semi-finals before losing to Godot, so that's not a bad showing. Hilariously, he was up against Miles Edgeworth in the very first round, stopping the prosecutor from making a dent in the competition. Frankly, he was robbed. Recount.
It's great to see the fanbase in good spirits, but that's hardly surprising. The most recent Nintendo Direct revealed that the Ace Attorney Investigations games are being remastered, with the second one launching outside of Japan for the first time. This will give us more Edgeworth and Gumshoe goodness when the collection launches on all platforms on September 6.
However, with the second game in the series, Ace Attorney Prosecutor’s Gambit, finally getting an official localisation, that means that those who have played the fan translation have to get used to a lot of new names. Turns out, many of them are struggling, as they had gotten attached to how fans had localised the script over the years.
