FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have sent Kai Cenat another exciting bit of Elden Ring merchandise, this time gifting him a life-size and wearable replica of Messmer's helmet for beating Shadow of the Erdtree.
2024 has been a surprising year in video gaming so far, but one thing I certainly didn't have on my bingo card was Kai Cenat falling in love with Elden Ring. Cenat started his painful journey with the game last month, where it took him 166 hours and 1,701 deaths to beat the final boss. He then moved onto Shadow of the Erdtree when that launched, which he finished a few days ago after 58 hours and a therapy session.
Cenat's victories over Elden Ring have not only given him a new appreciation for story-based games, but they've also seen him be rewarded with some surprising swag from Bandai and FromSoft. After beating the base game, Cenat was sent a jaw-dropping life-sized statue of Malenia, and he's just been given even more stuff after his Shadow of the Erdtree stream.
Kai Cenat Has Been Gifted A Replica Of Messmer's Helmet
As pointed out by Twitter user Kmafiaupdates, Cenat recently took to Twitch for a livestream where he just hung out at his house. During the stream, Cenat showed a box that he was sent by Bandai and FromSoft, which contained a range of goodies based on Shadow of the Erdtree that will make any fan jealous.
The most interesting thing that Cenat was sent is a life-size and wearable replica of Messmer's helmet, who is one of the main bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree. Cenat can be seen wearing it during his stream, before proudly displaying it next to his lifesize statue of Malenia, whose helmet is unfortunately not wearable.
Cenat may have only just started playing FromSoft games, but even he thinks that fans are being a bit hyperbolic about Shadow of the Erdtree's difficulty .
Cenat was also gifted a statue of Messmer that also comes with Shadow of the Erdtree's collector's edition. Unlike the life-sized statue of Malenia, both the Messmer helmet and statue can actually be purchased by anyone, as they're both up on the Bandai Namco store. Even still, it's nice that Cenat's achievement has been recognised with some free merch.
