How To Play Nocturnal Treasures Minigame
To begin the Nocturnal Treasures minigame, tap on the small event icon located on the right side of the screen. Once the minigame loads, you’ll be taken to a grid panel filled with squares, each one concealing a part of a hidden item.
The objective of the Nocturnal Treasures event is pretty simple: use the Pickaxe tokens to break tiles and dig up the required artifacts. The objects you need to uncover at a specific level are shown at the top of the screen. The more pickaxes you have, the more artifacts you can dig out, ultimately completing the Nocturnal Treasures minigame faster.
Nocturnal Treasures Locations
To keep things fair, Monopoly Go randomizes the locations of the hidden objects for each player. While there's an element of luck, strategically planning your digs is far more effective than randomly breaking tiles in Nocturnal Treasures.
For instance, if you need to dig out an owl statue, prioritize breaking tiles that are arranged in a square pattern as they are more likely to contain the object than linear tiles. This approach might reveal parts of the object and help you pinpoint its location more efficiently.
What Happens To Extra Pickaxe Tokens When Nocturnal Treasures End?
If you’ve actively collected Pickaxe tokens throughout the event, you’ll have plenty of them on hand when you reach the final level of Nocturnal Treasures.
All unused Pickaxe tokens will automatically be converted into Dice Rolls at a ratio of 3:1. This means if you have ten Pickaxes remaining, you'll get 30 free dice once the event is over.
