How To Get Platinum Crystals
Platinum Crystal is the highest tier of crystals you can obtain in the game, acting as a crucial endgame material. However, you won’t be able to acquire them until you’ve unlocked the entire map, as they are exclusively found in the Blackheart region, which is situated at the northernmost part of the map.
Like other types of crystals, obtaining Platinum Crystals requires you to explore settlements within the Blackheart region and loot their crates.
Every settlement in this region contains crates that have a chance to reward you with Platinum Crystals, so the key is to loot as many crates as possible to gather the crystals you need.
If you’ve already looted all the crates but find yourself still short on Platinum Crystals, don’t worry, you’re not locked out of obtaining more. The crates respawn after several hours from looting, allowing you to revisit and loot them again.
This means you can continually gather Platinum Crystals over time, ensuring you have enough to meet your endgame needs.
If you're low on ammo or tired of looting alone, feel free to bring a friend along to make the process easier—and so they can also collect crystals if needed.
