As you explore the islands in Palworld, you're sure to come across dozens of unique Pals that have different elemental attacks. Each Pal is unique with passive traits that define its personality. While every Pal species is different, it's the subspecies that make all the difference.
Helzephyr is one of the flying mounts you can catch, and the Sakurajima update includes the subspecies Helzephyr Lux. As an electric variant, Helzephyr Lux has different abilities compared to its standard counterpart. Here's everything you need to know to find and catch Helzephyr Lux in Palworld on your own!

Where To Find Helzephyr Lux
Helzephyr Lux can only be found along the northern shore of Sakurajima. It's a rather tough Pal to face, and its rarely alone, so make sure you come prepared with your best weapons and armor.
As an electric Pal, bring ground type Pals like Anubis or Digtoise to help whittle down its health! Once you've gotten its health down, through your best Pal Spheres at it. You'll need Ultra or Legendary Spheres at the very least to try and capture it.
Use the Ring of Mercy to ensure you don't reduce Helzephyr Lux's HP to zero!
Where To Find Alpha Boss Helzephyr Lux
Sometimes you'll encounter Helzephyr Lux in dungeons around Sakurajima. Though not always, they can appear as the Alpha Boss at the end of the dungeon.
These variations of Helzephyr Lux are more powerful than the standard Helzephyr Lux, but can be defeated all the same. Anything they lack in skill, they make up for in size. Try to catch one when you find it!
Helzephyr Lux Utility
With Wings of Thunder as its Partner Skill, Helzephyr Lux can be ridden as a flying mount. At level 52, you can unlock its saddle from the Technology menu and craft it with the following materials:

Helzephyr Lux is particularly skilled with electricity and transportation, so they're perfect for deploying at late-game bases that need lots of power. They're a great addition to any base with Large Power Generator, as they can help power technology like the Crude Oil Extractor.
