You might have seen players running around in full sets of armor and a large cape flapping in the wind. It's hard not to get jealous of other players when they are wearing matching capes. There are many different pieces of armor Pax Dei, some for aesthetic purposes, and others for both aesthetic and armor purposes.
It's not so obvious how to unlock capes and wear them. This guide will detail how to unlock the ability to craft a cape and how many types there are. Capes aren't just for looks, they can protect you against damage too.
How To Craft A Cape
All you need in order to unlock the Simple Cloth Cape is the Simple Tailoring Table. This is the very first tier tailoring table you can get. Unlock the Simple Tailoring Table by crafting Basic Tailoring Tools at your Basic Carpenters Workbench.
Capes can be worn over top of your armor for additional damage protection.

Where To Get Better Capes
There are currently two other capes in the game. They add just a bit more Slash and Blunt damage protection than the Simple Cloth Cape you get as a beginner. To unlock better capes, you must discover new types of yarn or cloth as well as upgrade your Tailoring skill level.
