One amulet to rule them all.
In Remnant 2, you'll find a variety of items at your disposal to build your character. These items include weapons, rings, relics, and amulets. Each of these plays a crucial role in shaping your preferred playstyle. Amulets, in particular, function as accessories that grant bonus abilities to your character. These abilities include a range of benefits such as increased damage, reduced skill cooldowns, quicker reload times, increased fire rates, and more.
Just like all other items within the game, amulets can be found throughout the game world, rewarded through events, or occasionally purchased from merchants. Your choice of amulets should align with your character's build, as certain amulets may prove more effective.
Updated on May 2, 2024, by Mohamed El Ouardighi: With the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC, a new set of equipment, including Amulets, has been introduced to Remnant 2. In this guide update, we've included a couple of noteworthy amulet options.
Scavenger’s Bauble
While the Scavenger's Baubledoesn't make you stronger in fights, it does play an important role in improving your character. In the game, you use Scarp as the main currency, and getting enough of it can be a bit tricky. That's where the Scavenger’s Bauble comes in handy. This amulet increases the Scarp you get by 50 percent, giving you more resources to upgrade your weapons and make your purchases.
The Scavenger’s Bauble also makes things easier by automatically picking up crafting materials that are by . So, you don't have to worry about missing out on those materials when you're exploring or fighting enemies.
If you want to get your hands on the Scavenger’s Bauble, you'll need to find it as a random drop in Yaesha. Look in places like The Far Woods, The Twisted Chantry, The Forbidden Grove, Imperial Gardens, or The Withering Weald.
Jester's Bell
The Jester's Bell is versatile and can be used effectively with any Archetype. This amulet significantly increases the casting speed at which you can use both weapon Mods and skills by an impressive 35 percent. This ensures that you remain less exposed when using these abilities, as some of them typically require more time to activate. As a result, your mobility and engagement with enemies will improve.
Additionally, after you use a skill or a weapon Mod, your damage output receives a 20 percent increase for a duration of 15 seconds . As you can see, if your character builds heavily relying on skills and Mods, this is a must-have amulet.
In order to obtain the Jester's Bell, you must locate theJesterhimself. Upon finding him, he will provide you with the Magic Quill after his little performance. However, during his performance, you have to use the Clap emote, which will grant you access to this amulet.
Rusted Navigator's Pendant
The Rusted Navigator's Pendant is like the Ring of Favor in Dark Souls 3; it's an all-around great choice for any build. This amulet gives you a boost of 15 points to both your health and stamina.
In a game like Remnant 2, these two Traits are super important and will really help you out and will be useful throughout the entire game. With more health, you can take more hits, and having extra stamina means you can dodge more and use your melee weapon more often which will enhance your effectiveness and agility in combat.
Speaking of agility, the Rusted Navigator's Pendant also reduces Encumbrance by 15 , which contributes to your agility even more. Plus, this allows you to wear heavier armor that will increase your overall defense .
What makes it even better is that you can obtain this pendant from the game's first world, N'Erud. Look for it at Astropath’s Respite in a room situated at the top of the spire just before the boss fight.
Worn Dog Tags
The Worn Dog Tags is an amulet designed to enhance your gunplay skills and keep you in the fight. It boosts both your fire rate and reload speed by 15 percent, along with reducing weapon charge time by 15 percent. While the effects of this amulet may seem too simple, improvements to your gunplay can significantly enhance your encounters with enemies and how quickly you can deal with them.
However, obtaining this amulet is not as simple as its effect. In order to acquire it, you must first complete Lydusa's quest in the Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Then, head to the Luminous Vale, inside Private Jack Driver's hidden base, and locate the amulet on the corpse there.
Gift Of Melancholy
The Gift Of Melancholyboosts all damage by a solid 25 percent for seven seconds, but only when your stamina is at 100 percent. It's a great choice when dealing with distant enemies, as you won't need to constantly run or dodge, keeping your stamina at maximum.
If you already have other equipment or Traits that increase stamina regeneration, this ring becomes even more perfect, as you won't have to wait long to regain this damage boost.
You can only get your hands on this amulet by venturing into the Path of the Fallen within the Awakened King. When you're there, you will need to use the Memoriam Medallion Key dropped by Wraithliege at the locked door in the dark version of this location.
For step-by-step instructions, take a look at our dedicated guide on completing the Path of the Fallen .
Vengeance Idol
The Vengeance Idol cranks up your offensive abilities in battles. When your health drops below half, this amulet boosts all the damage you deal by 30 percent. Considering the game's tough challenges, you will be constantly facing new obstacles and tons of enemies; your health rarely stays full for long. This situation can be advantageous; rather than healing immediately, you can take advantage of this damage boost, especially in boss fights.
This amulet works really well for the Summoner Archetype because the minions you summon use up some of your health . So, even if you need health to summon, you'll still have Root Minions to assist you in battles, and you'll also get the damage boost.
Much like many items in Remnant 2, the Vengeance Idol can be found in Yaesha as a random drop.
Death's Embrace
The Death's Embrace amulet works in a similar way to the Vengeance Idol in terms of its effect. When your health is below 100 percent, this amulet boosts all types of damage by 20 percent. Unlike before, this time the effect will most likely be active all the time because it's nearly impossible to keep your health at max level when playing Remnant 2.
And that's not all, the Death's Embrace also gives you a Haste buff if your health goes below 50 percent .
In order to get the Death's Embrace, you need to findBedel of The Vaunnt in Yaesha, and he'll sell it to you for 1,000 scrap.
Legacy Protocol
For those who enjoy using their unique Archetype skills, the Legacy Protocol amulet proves to be an excellent choice. When equipped, it reduces skill cooldown by 20 percent and extends skill duration by 15 percent. This translates to less downtime waiting to use the skill again and more time benefiting from its effects.
This amulet is exclusively obtainable with the Awakened King DLC and was introduced as a random world drop in N'erud.
Stalker’s Brand
Another fantastic amulet that pairs well with any build and archetype is the Stalker’s Brand. With this amulet, your ranged damage increases by ten percent and your melee damage by 15 percent. This means you're getting a steady damage boost that works in all kinds of enemy encounters. It doesn't matter whether you're using melee weapons or guns during your time playing Remnant 2, this amulet will increase its damage with no condition.
The Stalker’s Brand has a second effect too: This bonus damage gets doubled against enemies that aren't targeting you .
The only catch with this handy amulet is that it's also a random drop in Yaesha, so you might need to do a bit of searching to find it.
Whispering Marble
Another unique addition to the Awakened King DLC is the Whispering Marble. This amulet grants your character three stacks of Bulwark. For each Bulwark stack, you receive a three percent increase in all damage. The initial three stacks provided by the amulet offer a base of nine percentage boost, and you can obtain additional Bulwark stacks from various items.
For additional details, refer to the guide on acquiring the items that grant you the Bulwark buff .
Like many items in the game, this ring was included as a random drop in Losomn.
Zero Divide
The Zero Divide is undeniably one of the best amulets you can find in the game. It grants you infinite ammo reserves and increases ranged damage by 15 percent. Essentially, infinite ammo reserves means you'll never run out of ammo, eliminating any worries about ammunition. However, you'll still need to reload after each magazine.
Coupled with the damage boost, it's a powerful combination that enhances your combat capabilities significantly.
Though incredibly useful, obtaining the Zero Divide may require some searching. It's another random drop added in the N'Erud world with the release of the Forgotten Kingdom DLC.
Shaed Bloom Crystal
The Shaed Bloom Crystal is an excellent option for boosting your damage in the game. When you wear this amulet, you get a solid 30 percent damage increase. But here's the twist: every five seconds, this bonus switches from boosting your physical damage to elemental damage.
This strategy shines when you're using a weapon like the Enigma handgun, which deals Shock damage. If you pair it with something like the Chicago Typewriter, for instance, you can switch between these weapons based on the damage bonus. This adds a lot more flexibility to your battles and makes the combat experience even more enjoyable.
The elemental damage is especially helpful because it lets you apply status effects to enemies .
The Shaed Bloom Crystal can be found in Losomn, specifically at the Malefic Palace. There, you need to look for the same room where first meet the Jester.
Escalation Protocol
The Escalation Protocol is a great fit for aggressive playstyles since it boosts your damage by 2.5 percent for ten seconds after taking down an enemy. This is super useful, especially in Remnant 2 where killing enemies is a major focus and never really lets up. It's particularly handy for Archetypes like the Gunslinger since they are known for their offensive approach and knack for dealing with lots of foes at once.
The best thing about this amulet is that its effect can stack up to ten times, leading to a total damage increase of 25 percent . This really shines when you're facing off against groups of enemies.
You can find the Escalation Protocol later in the game, specifically in Corrupted Harbor at Root Earth. If you're on the path to unlock the Invader Archetype, you'll stumble upon it along the way.
