In Remnant 2, Traits are passive abilities that give your character specific advantages. They play a crucial role in developing your character as you play the game. In the beginning, you'll have a basic set of four Traits, but as you progress In the game, you will be able to unlock additional ones.

Traits can be unlocked in various ways, such as defeating powerful bosses, completing specific events, assisting certain NPCs, and unlocking Archetypes. As a result, each Trait requires you to complete a particular task related to one of these activities.

Remnant 2: Unlockable Traits, Explained

There is a total of 32 Traits divided into three categories: Core Traits, Archetype Traits, and Unlockable Traits.

In order to benefit from a Trait, you need to level it up by using a Trait point. Traits points are obtained after defeating bosses or finding Tomes of Knowledge scattered throughout the game. As appealing as this might sound, there is a catch.

Remnant 2: Unlockable Traits, Explained

Remnant 2 allows you to allocate a total of 60 Traits Points only. This will make you think twice about which Traits to level up since you can't max out all of them.

Don't let this hold you from experimenting with other Traits since the game offers a Respec feature . This can be easily done by purchasing and using an Orb of Undoing from Wallace at Ward 13 which will cost you three Lumenite Crystals and 1,500 scrap .

Core Traits

Core Traits are the starting Traits that every character has, regardless of the Archetype they choose. These Traits cover the basic stats of the character and are accessible to everyone.

It is recommended to prioritize Vigor and Endurance because they will be beneficial throughout your entire playtime in Remnant 2.

Archetype Traits

As the name suggests, Archetype Traits are linked to specific Archetypes. Once you meet Wallace to choose your starting archetype, you'll unlock one Archetype Trait according to your starting class. While the game starts with four main Archetypes, more can be unlocked by finding certain items and bringing them back to Wallace.

Fortunately, Remnant 2 provides seven additional Archetypes that you can unlock and try out. This gives you the opportunity to experiment with different playstyles and abilities.

Unlockable Traits

Unlockable Traits can be obtained while playing the game. You earn these Traits by defeating bosses, assisting specific NPCs, or finishing certain locations or events. These Traits can enhance your character's abilities and complement your chosen build, as there are many of them and they provide various bonuses.

Increase the speed of using consumables and relics

Handling

Defeat the horde enemies in Ashen Wasteland in Root Earth.

Reduces weapon spread and recoil

Recovery

Take back the lost Dran child to the Oracle of the Dran in Brocwit Quarter in Losomn.

Increase stamina regeneration

Resonance

Allow one player to trigger the purge to kill you in Dormant N'Erudian Facility.

Increase aura size

Revivalist

Revive teammates 10 times.

Increase the speed of reviving and being revived

Rugged

Defeat the Root Nexus and the horde boss to free Likh. Interact with him to unlock the trait.

Increase the health of Archetype Summons

Scholar

Defeat the final boss of the game.

Increase experience gain

Shadeskin

Complete the Burning Event in the Butcher’s Quarter in Losomn before the man gets burned.

Increase resistance to elemental status effect damage

Siphoner

Defeat all enemies in Dorman’t N’Erudian Facility before the time runs out.

Defeat the horde boss in Corrupted Harbor.

Increase environmental movement speed

Dark Pact

Unlocked after completing the Bells Event in the Awakened King.

Reduce grey health regen rate

Chakra

At the Corrupted Harbor checkpoint, you'll encounter a fog wall. Defeat the enemy beyond it to obtain this trait.

Increases Mod Duration

Resolute

Destroy 15 of the stone statues that appear at your death locations after Lydusa, which can be found at The Bloodless Throne, casts this curse upon you.

Reduces Hit Reaction Time
