Rockstar Considers Bully To Be One Of Its Most Popular Series

Rockstar Games has revealed on its updated PC storefront that it considers Bully (also known as Canis Canem Edit) to be one of its most popular franchises.

As great as it is knowing that Grand Theft Auto 6 is not only a real, confirmed thing but that we'll be playing it at some point during Fall 2025, it's a bit of a shame for anyone hoping to see Rockstar release anything else in the near future. That pain is especially felt by Bully fans, who have been hearing murmurs about a sequel for the past decade.

While it seems like we're no r to finally getting Bully 2, we do at least have some proof that Rockstar still thinks about the series and holds it in high regard. That's probably going to be little comfort to anyone hoping Bully's sequel might get teased soon, but we'll take what we can get with GTA 6 clearly being Rockstar's focus.

As pointed out by Twitter user videotechuk_, Rockstar recently redesigned its storefront for the Rockstar Games launcher. Beyond the spiffy new look, the most notable thing about the redesign is that it gives us a little insight into how Rockstar views its various franchises and their popularity with players.

In first place is, of course, Grand Theft Auto 5, which is surprisingly followed by the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition. Third place goes to Red Dead Redemption 2, which isn't really much of a surprise, but the title in fourth place is one that might be raising some hopeful eyebrows — Bully, also known as Canis Canem Edit in the UK.

It's been a long time since we heard anything about Bully 2, but some insiders suggested that it was still in development as of a few years ago . We can only dream.

That's right, despite not getting a new release since the Scholarship Edition way back in the Xbox 360 days, Bully is still standing tall as one of the most popular Rockstar franchises out there, right next to Red Dead Redemption and GTA. Sure, there aren't many other Rockstar games that could really go here (L.A. Noire and Midnight Club do come to mind, though), but it's still a big achievement for an underrated gem.

This is far from confirmation that Rockstar is working on anything to do with Bully right now, but, it does at least hint to us that it thinks quite highly of Jimmy Hopkins' first outing. There have been rumours about Bully 2 being in development for years now, so here's hoping it being included here is a little nod to that possibility.
