Like most survival games out there, Soulmask challenges you to explore a vast and unforgiving overworld, where you begin with nothing but the will to survive. As you venture out and explore the world around you, you’ll learn how to craft essential tools, weapons, and structures to increase your chances of survival.
Throughout your travels, you’ll collect a series of masks, which can grant you unique abilities and allow you to channel the powers of your legendary ancestors. To get an extra boost and make your journey easier, Soulmask also lets you use console commands.
How To Use Console Commands
Currently, you can only use console commands on a private dedicated Soulmask server. Before you can use console commands, you need to create an admin password for your respective server. To do so, follow the steps below:
- Open the StartServer.bat file. This can be found in the Steam Apps folder.
- Next, find the startup command and go to the end of it.
- Type in "-adminpsw=[password]", where [password] is any word of your choice. Make sure you remember this word, since you will need to type it in the game.
You'll need to install SteamCMD to set up the dedicated server for Soulmask.
As long as you have your password, you can use console commands in Soulmask. Follow these steps to set up your console command:
- Launch Soulmask and load your character.
- Open up the console command menu using the tilde (~) key.
- Input the command “gm key [password]”, replacing the brackets with whatever password is set up for your server.
- Once the admin menu appears, enter your password again and confirm to become the admin.
If you’ve done everything correctly, you can now easily use console commands in Soulmask whenever you want.
