The first is the toughest without knowing how to get it, but all it takes is a Prismatic Shard and some careful desert stepping.
Once you’ve finally made your way to the Calico Desert in Stardew Valley, be sure you’ve brought a Prismatic Shard along with you, because there’s one heck of a weapon waiting to be uncovered out in the sand. Have you noticed those three pillars? Try standing between them with a Prismatic Shard.
After you’ve summoned the Galaxy Sword for your farmer, you’ll then be able to head back to the Valley and opt to purchase other Galaxy Weapons to suit your weapon of preference. Regardless of which weapon you choose to use, the Galaxy Weapons are some of Stardew’s best.
How To Get A Galaxy Sword
To unlock the Galaxy Sword in Stardew Valley, it's important to know that you can't buy the Galaxy Sword outright — that would be way too easy! Instead, you'll need to find it in the world.
To do so, there are two key components you'll need to have, both of which require a bit of work:
- Access to the Calico Desert.
- The most likely way you'll have this first is by finishing the bundle that unlocks the Bus Stop from the Community Center. Finishing the Vault Bundle by paying in gold to do so will restore the bus, and Pam will be available to drive you out to the desert the following morning.
- You may also happen upon a Desert Warp Totem, but it's not likely, so stick with Pam as your safest bet.
- One Prismatic Shard.
Once you have both of these things, head out to the desert with your Prismatic Shard in your inventory. When you get there, head to the Northeast corner of the desert, where you'll see three pillars sticking curiously from the sand in a triangle position.
To unlock the Galaxy Sword in Stardew Valley, all you need to do is hold your Prismatic Shard and stand in the very center of the triangle, which is within a circle of stones on a little circle marked in the sand.
After a quick cutscene, you'll suddenly have in your hands the iconic purple Galaxy Sword, at no other cost than your Prismatic Shard (which is consumed upon creating the Galaxy Sword).
How To Get The Galaxy Dagger And Galaxy Hammer
After you've unlocked the Galaxy Sword, head over to the Adventurer's Guild, where you've purchased your other weapons and checked in on your Monster Eradication goals with Marlon. Even if you don't prefer to use swords for your combat, he won't stock these items until you've found the Galaxy Sword.
As a result of this, Marlon will begin to stock some new items.

You won't be able to use the above Prismatic Shard method of getting a Galaxy Sword more than once, but should you lose it or need another for any reason, you can purchase another from Marlon after you've unlocked the first one that way.
Use Galaxy Weapons To Make Infinity Weapons
While you're up at the Forge in the Volcano Dungeon, if the Galaxy Weapons themselves aren't strong enough and you're looking to add a little more punch to your punches, you can enhance Galaxy Weapons just the same as others: by using gemstones on the Forge up to three times to improve them.
However, if you've been lucky enough to a few Galaxy Souls either by purchasing them from the Walnut Room or battling your way through the Danger in the Deep Qi challenge, then you can enhance your Galaxy Weapons even further by turning them into Infinity Weapons.
It'll cost you three Galaxy Souls and 60 Cinder Shards for each one, but the Infinity Weapons are the strongest in the game, so it's well worth the investment!
