Got too much gold burning a hole in your pocket? Cash in and cash out at the Casino with this extravagant item.
Though it’s one of the most expensive items in Stardew Valley (and therefore may not land a spot on your farm until quite a ways into your playthrough), the Statue of Endless Fortune more than lives up to the vibe its name implies. The up-front cost is high, but the rewards are worth it.
Chat with the shady guy at the Casino and you’ll walk away with one of these golden statues. Place it on your farm and interact with the Statue of Endless Fortune once per day for automatic access to birthday gifts, Iridium Bars, and so much more.
How To Get The Statue Of Endless Fortune
Have you ever noticed that guy hanging out at the Casino over in Calico Desert once you've gotten past the bouncer at Oasis, looking kind of shady up at the top part of the game floor? If you haven't talked to him already, do so — he's how you get the Statue of Endless Fortune.
Except, something this valuable definitely won't come cheap. Unlike everything else in the Casino, this man wants cold, hard gold — 1,000,000g, to be more precise. If you were looking for one of the most expensive items in Stardew Valley, you've definitely stumbled onto one. That said, the name is no lie — the Statue will more than pay for itself before long, in resources and more.
What Does The Statue Of Endless Fortune Do?
There are two gimmicks with the Statue of Endless Fortune in Stardew Valley, and which kind of item you'll receive depends on the day of the season. Be sure to keep up with the calendar outside of Pierre's, because what you'll get from the Statue of Endless fortune depends on if it's a townsperson's birthday that day.
On a normal day wherein nothing special is happening, the Statue of Endless Fortune is a good source of Diamonds, Gold Bars, Iridium Bars, or Omni Geodes. On such days, you'll receive one of these four items, seemingly at random.
If you're interacting with the Statue of Endless Fortune on someone's birthday, though, the Statue will instead provide you with one gift the birthday person loves.
If you're still working on your friendships with the townsfolk, this is a great way to help earn some good bonus hearts with that person, since giving someone a loved gift on their birthday scores you a staggering eight times multiplier for the number of friendship points you earn that day. This can sometimes be enough to immediately earn up to two hearts with that person.
That said, if you're not immediately using the gift you're given that day, you can always find other uses for them, since you'll occasionally get some high-value items or things that may be otherwise beneficial to sell.
Depending on whose birthday it is, these items will include one of the following:
- Gemstones.
- Cooked meals.
- Artisan Goods.
It's up to you how you use the items given to you from the Statue of Endless Fortune, but it's a good idea to interact with the Statue once a day to ensure you're milking it for all the gifts it's worth.
