If you want «stellar» prizes, take some extra time with this puzzle from Stellar Blade.
When you're not busy whiffing perfect parries and yelling at your television in Stellar Blade, you're often solving puzzles. One of the first puzzles you'll encounter is at the construction zone in Eidos 7. A tunnel leading to an Alpha Naytiba lies on the other side of a vast chasm at the end of the site. The only way to get across is by forming a bridge of steel beams with a crane.
The Crane Puzzle is easy to breeze through. All you need to do is get the ID cards necessary to operate the crane, then log in to the machine and form the bridge. There's nothing to it! But if you cross that steel bridge without a second thought, you'll likely miss some alternate solutions that will get you tons of sweet loot! We'll walk you through the Crane Puzzle solution and its alternatives.
Where Are The Three ID Cards?
The most time-consuming part of the Crane Puzzle is searching for the three IDs to grant clearance for you to operate the crane. Each ID is inside a chest at the following three locations:
Location |
Steps |
---|---|
The first ID is inside the building on the statue's left side (the side with the arm holding the staff). |
|
The second ID is inside the enclave across from the statue's front side. |
|
The third ID is inside the building on the statue's right side (the side with the missing arm). |
|
How Do I Operate The Crane?
Now that you have all three IDs, you can operate the crane! Follow the on-screen button guide to operate it. Here's a recap below:

It's vital to note that the left beam extends further back while the right can reach more forward.
What Are The Crane Puzzle Solutions?
The crane can make four bridges. The first uses both beams to connect the construction site to the tunnels. The left beam can form two bridges: one to the building on the left and another to a secret room. The right beam can create a bridge to another hidden room.
The Main Solution
Follow the steps below to form the bridge to the tunnels:
- Position the left beam back and in front of the elevator shaft.
- Place the right beam as to the left beam as possible.
- Move the right beam as far forward as possible.
You can nuzzle the right beam underneath the left beam to avoid an unnecessary jump.
The Breakthrough Wall Solutions
Two hidden rooms flank each side of the tunnel entrance behind stone-muraled walls. Use the left and right beams to break down each wall and reveal them.
- Place the left beam ahead of the fence opening next to the construction vehicle to form a bridge to the left room.
- Place the right beam ahead of the fence opening near the stack of pipes to form a bridge to the right room.
What rewards can you find in the hidden rooms? The chest in the left room contains materials like nano elements and polymers. Meanwhile, the chest in the right room contains the Red Passion nano suit design.
The Left Building Solution
If you're a completionist looking for every memory stick in Eidos 7, you'll want to explore the building to the left of the chasm. But how can you get there? You'll use the left beam to form a bridge. Follow the steps below:
- Raise the left beam and move it over the left fence.
- Lower the beam so it sits at mid-height between the roof of the construction vehicle and the building's second floor.
- Now, you can climb the roof of the construction vehicle, jump to the beam, and then climb the yellow ledge to enter the building.
Don't forget to nab the body core inside this area! The corpse containing the core blends into the walls, so it's easy to miss.
